The surrounding of the hotel is quite noisy, we knew this before and asked for rooms on the backside, which wo got. But theses rooms are noisy, too. The acoustic isolation of the rooms is quite bad, we could hear persons outside our room and in other rooms. But we were very satisfied with our hotel choice over all, the price we paid was more than o.k. for Dublin and the location is nearly perfect.

Faced with a 4-night stay, we started out skeptical, because of the Isaacs' location across the street from the Bus Station. Yes, it can be noisy at times, but that's due more to late-night carousers than the traffic or the DART (which stops at 12AM). For us the hotel turned out to be a GREAT place to stay: clean room & bath, good breakfast, friendly staff, convenient local public transport (airport bus is across the street), lots of restaurants and markets nearby and it's a short walk to O'Connell St & the Southside. The neighborhood is slightly seedy, but we never were concerned about security at night. There were lots of pedestrians out and about. Only negative is that the hotel charges for wireless. Otherwise, we recommend the Isaacs.

We had a very good 3 night break here in January and received excellent value for money. This is our second visit to this hotel and once again we were very pleased with our stay here. The buffet breakfast includes a good variety of items, is of good quality and a pleasure to eat. We found the rooms to be pleasantly decorated and clean, the bed comfortable, and the staff friendly and helpful. We would have no hesitation in recommending this hotel especially as it has the added bonus of a central location, across the road from the bus station, very near Connolly railway station and a short distance from O'Connell Street.

This was not my first time staying in Hotel Isaacs so I knew the area and Dublin , in general. The staff were very polite and only too willing to help. The Double room we had was spotlessly clean and very quiet. The hotel is convenient to O'Connell St. & Temple Bar area and a few minutes walk from the train station. I have very few complaints about the Hotel but if I was to be 'petty', I would say the room seemed to be a bit smaller than rooms we had stayed in before and the heat in the room was almost unbearable, even though there was a fan in the room(but at the start of July I suppose heat is only to be expected)... In all, I was delighted with the Hotel, again, and will be returning before the year is out.

We stayed for 2 nights in a double/twin room it was ok but it was next to the street and to the central bus station it was very loud during the night. You are in the center of Dublin a short walk to all areas you want to see perfect place if you want to stay some nights for sightseeing, shopping & co.

Isaacs is definitely the poorest hotel I've been in Dublin. The room was vey warm (we were lucky that the weather was not warm too), the room was stuck into the bottom of the hotel. Very little room with very poor facilities (shower and toilets were tiny). I think we weren't lucky with this room since other rooms seemed much better (we should have asked for another room). Anyway Isaacs hotel was the most expensive hotel of my Irish stay and the worst hotel.

There are a couple of pubs near the hotel and during the night and when alcohol running the night becomes noising with the people hanging around.

Great hotel, a few minutes walk from Trinity College, Temple Bar and other main attractions. Airport transfer bus stop is in front of the Hotel (line 747). There is no minibar in the room to cool our Guinness, but that was not a big deal. Our rooms were just behind the railway, so it was a bit noisy when the train passed, but we had no problem to sleep!

Unfortunately the room had no space for hanging up clothes, we had to leave our things in the case during the stay. The guest range at Hotel Isaacs was mixed, some were nearly Teenager others about fifty and up. Very comfortable was the location, quite near to the heart of the city and to O'Conell St, where all the buses are leaving.
