One of the previous reviewers warned that this hotel will try to cheat you with currency conversion. They tried this at check-out, I refused to pay more than what Venere told me, found out later that they charged my card for more. Noise from nightclubs very loud, surroundings dingy.

they cgarge more than the prices agrred upon playing with currency exchange rate. plus if you use american express cards, they charge you 2% more.

The hotel room was the worst i have ever seen. the curtains were full of dust. the window had not been cleaned for years, the carpet was dirty, the TV was not functional and the bathroom was dirty and the towels which were white originally looked grey for lack of proper washing. In fact i discovered the hotel had a number of night clubs which actually offered women for extra services (a brothel in other words)

Venere.com does not debit your credit card for your reservations. You will be asked to insert your credit card details which will be sent to the property only as a guarantee of the reservation. The bill will then have to be settled directly at the hotel.
