Metropolitan Deira Hotel - Dubai

The hotel arranges free shuttle bus to Jumeira Beach Park, Deira City Center Mall, and the Dubai Mall. Do not miss a splash in the Jacuzzi rooftop.Subway station "Al Rigga" 400m from the hotel in a very nice area surrounded by Restaurants and shops. Good location.

I mail to the hotel regarding our one day late checking in due to some unavoidable circumstances which was acknowledged by the hotel management but even then person on receiptionist insist us to pay from 2nd march 2010. conclusion : services was not as being provided in 4 stars hotel, sorry will never chose this hotel in future

Good for spending few days in the Hotel especially when you are on a business man. The Hotel is quite in the Center of Deira. By walk it is long to reach anything (like beach), but there are taxis everywhere and they offer good price. The pool on the roof is good enough, but the territory is small and the view from the roof is very poor. The restaurant is fine the food is ok.

Hotel well situated, close to several restaurants. Easy to find a taxi, metrostation at 5 mn. walk. Junior Suite very spacious

Extortionate wifi access charges, (which incidentally is not wifi but wired). The price is not published and only told if questioned at check-in, which is too late. Speed is average, with high price. Internet nowadays is such a common requirement and looks like the hotel is using this to supplement its income. Will not go back simply for this reason. Talked with the manager, but no real help.

OK, but not luxuries hotel by the Deria clock tower. Nice rooms, competent staff and a nice starting point for exploring Dubai. Good value for money.

Good hotel, but if you have a car, parking may be a problem. We were able to park in the hotel driveway but there is only enough room for 3 cars there. Otherwise, a good hotel.

So convenient to airport. We needed a comfortable night for mum and two small kids, and that's what we got. Very happy.

Superb service offered by hotel staff. I had the most enjoyable stay and the staff were always on hand to assist with any queries I had.

The hotel is located in very good place in Dubai, the room has acceptable and sufficient space, the swimming room is very small but it is enough for spend a reasonable time in. Probably I will be back to the same hotel if the price still competitive.

Fine for a short stay as it is not too far from the airport or the shopping mall and souk.The swimming is clean rather small but Ok as is the gym. The staff are very courteous and helpful. there is a pub attached to the hotel with reasonable prices, for Dubai!For the price we paid in June it was very good value.

We stayed 2 nights in Dubai. This 4 star hotel did not appear like what was on the internet. So it was disappointing thinking we booked a modern 4 star hotel and when we got there it looked more like an older 3 star. Having said that, the service and room was fine. Adequate

To stay in Dubai hotels you must add on 10% service charge and 10% municipality fees, therefore 20% overall. this is a significant hike in price which i was not expecting, it was written in small print. would be better if this was emphasised when booking so that one gets no surprises upon arrival. otherwise, perfect.

Hotel close to clock tower but behind a few buildings. Good facilities such as underground free car park where I parked my hired car. Trustworthy staff as always. Booking price was £32 per night for twin bedroom but total came to £40 after the service charges etc (still OK) Pub was ok, bit dark but we just played pool and darts which was great fun. Clean hotel, nice bathrooms spacious, bedrooms are clean and neat. Only bad point is the music when walking through corridors - sounds awful, but not a distraction when in the bedroom. Location is close to airport but very far from Nasser Sq where we went there most often. We had a car so it was ok. Safari arrangements was great, the driver was excellent. Lunch and Breakfast was expensive so we just went to nearby places to eat.

I was on a business trip and wanted something within the budget of my startup. Metropolitan Deira was a very good choice. Its location is central, the rooms are priced reasonably, the hotel rooms are clean, the service is very good and has a practical Irish pub downstairs... good to have a cold beer after a long day of meetings and before heading to the room, and great for those very late hours of the night for a burger!
