Hotel Kipping - Dresden

I can fully recommend this hotel. We had a wonderful weekend. Should I come back to Dresden, Hotel Kipping is the only place I would like to stay.

The location is great, a five minute walk to the Hauptbanhauf. There is a 24 hour front desk. The breakfast also was good.

Good location for rail travellers, a fair walk for those just visiting to see tourist attractions. Good breakfast and helpful staff

Hotel Kipping was one of the nicest hotels we stayed in during our two week trip to Europe with a total of 7 hotels. It was quiet and the food was very good and well prepared. The free parking for our rental car worked very well.

Ottimo hotel. Colazione da hotel di lusso con abbondante cibo (fantastiche le torte fatte in casa). La migliore colazione avuto in Germania. La stanza era ampia ma purtroppo era priva di climatizzatore (faceva caldo quei giorni), frigorifero e oggetti utili per il bagno (saponette, cuffia doccia ecc.). La stazione era vicina ma non si sentivano i rumori nonostante si dormiva con le finestre aperte. Un hotel da raccomandare anche se la stanza non aveva le cose su menzionate.

It was a plesur to stay a the hotel "Kipping", you felt wery welcome also as a singel person. The room was very nice - it was very easy to find , no problem there - even when it was my first time in the city of Dresden. I will come back and use the same hotel if I ever come to Dresden again, thats fore sure.

A small but friendly hotel with traditional, retrospective European atmosphere, which I always value before everything, when travelling Europe. The restaurant is also "gemuetlich"!

The location next to the railway station was excellent, although it was further away from the main part of Dresden than we had anticipated (we were walking). The breakfast provided was one of the best we got whilst we were away, outstanding quality. As the staff spoke only limited English making ourselves understood was a little problematic at times, but we got there in the end.

Very well located a few steps from the Hauptbahnhof. The walk to the center of town is a bit far, but the trams stop very close by. The staff was very helpful, even offering to do some laundry without charge. Breakfast was very good.

Excellent small hotel, near railroad station and its continuing reconstruction (which isn't pretty but is really not a problem). Interesting history of the property. 20 minute walk to old Dresden's cultural areas, 2 blocks to trams and trains.
