Venere rate given was substantially higher than the hotel's normal rates. I did receive a discount, however. Essentially, this is a typical tourist development building above a pizzeria. Car parking not as easy as the website implies.

I had to complain 3 times because there was no hot water in the room in the evening. The boss came to check in our room and said he could not do anything about it. We felt like we were disturbing them as if it was normal and not a big deal.This is purely unaccceptable when you pay 60 Euros for a night and eat in addition for 70 euros in their restaurant. There was no appologies and no compensation was even offered. It is also worth mentioning that the noise of the sea beating the rocks erery minute all night long is unbearable as the windows of the hotel are not soundproof.

How to reach Hotel Pop

By car
From Olbia harbour or Airport, take the SS 131 bis State Road following direction Nuoro. Take the exit Lula-Dorgali, and follow the signs for Dorgali. Then follow the signs for Cala Gonone. You will pass through a tunnel, and after the tunnel you will find the signs for Cala Gonone. In Cala Gonone, follow the signs for the marina (Porto). The hotel is located in the marina area.
From Alghero, take the SS 131 State Road following the signs for Sassari-Cagliari, then follow direction Cagliari-Nuoro and take the Nuoro exit. Follow direction Olbia before entering the town of Nuoro. Then, take the exit Lula-Dorgali and proceed as described up above.
