We took an economic room (no bathroom), and the ratio between the price and the hotel offer was very good. Clean and big room with view of the city center. The only negative thing was that our room was situated at the third floor and there wasn't the elevator.

A fine little hotel, not fancy, but certainly more than just sufficient, both for shorter and longer stays. The location is as central as one can want. Altogether a good place to go in Dijon, France.

We enjoyed our 4 days here. We had a car and only used it 1 day, such is the public transport available and the fact that we went of a few tours. Our room, No. 23 was one of the largest. There is no elevator. We would definitely stay here again.

Lovely hotel in the very heart of Dijon's old center. The room was spacious enough, the bathroom as well and the price/quality ratio was good. There is a public parking near by for approx. 5 euros/night which is very convenient. Some of the staff didn't speak English, but with a bit of effort we got along :)

Hotel is brilliantly located in the heart of the old city. Walking distance to everything. Rooms were clean and comfortable. For the price it is hard to beat. Undercover parking is close by and reasonably priced for 24 hour stays.

A welcoming little hotel right in the middle of the antique area of Dijon. Access up the stairs was a little tight with bags but teh hotel loocationwas very good. The room was small for two adults but was clean and the bed was conmfortable. The breakfasts were great and the food was plentiful.

We had a large suite which was fine and more than we bargained for. The staff was friendly and helpful. The breakfast for 6 euro was a great price and included cereal as well. (Yogurt would make it perfect!) The location was north of the town center and reasonably quiet. The Creperie across the street was excellent as well. We enjoyed our stay and would return any time! Americans should know to bring along your own wash cloth and shampoo...the case in most of the 2 star places we have stayed in France. There was no daily maid service for our time there but we liked that. The staff gave us anything we needed when asked for.

As a family group we stayed overnight on the way to our apartment in the Alps. For a 2 star hotel this offered very adequate facilities at a competitive price. Breakfast was a very acceptable buffet, with a good choice of breads, cereals, conserves, cheese, yogurt, fruit etc provided in a pleasant dining room. The low rating for public areas related to vomit in a public corridor overnight. Once pointed out to the management it was cleaned up, however even in a modest establishment it should have been seen and dealt with far earlier. We will certainly use this hotel as a stopover in future. It is easily accessible in the charming old part of the town with a wide choice of restaurants within a five minute walk. Although the hotel does not have its own parking, it does arrange parking at a covered car park a few minutes walk away.

This was a lovely room in a convenient location. Great value for the price. The woman at the desk was polite, and the cheerful man who attended to the breakfast room put me in a good mood. I will stay here again if the occasion arises.

A distance from the train station, but close to bus stop. Excellent accomodations, especially for the price. Recommended neighborhood restaurant, L'Escargot, was the best meal we had in the two weeks we traveled. Absolutely outstanding food at a reasonable price.

My wife amnd I stayed for four nights at the Jaquemart Hotel in Juy of 2008. The location is terrific if you want to be in the heart of old Dijon - is close to th major tourist sites, some excellent retaurants and the tourist information ofice. We did not eat breakfast at the hotel. It is a competently run two star hotel. We were last there in 1998. We arrived and left by train.

A very comfortable stay (first time) in a very pleasant and clean room with a comfortable bed, overlooking the front of the hotel. There is a bar opposite which could perhaps be noisy - but by the time I had returned from my meal in one of Dijon's many excellent restaurants, it was all quiet. I was able to park on the street to drop/pick up my bags, and was then provided with a ticket for the local underground car park, very secure and excellent at about 4 Euros a night. Friendly, helpful staff. Thoroughly recommended.

Hotel Le Jacquemart is very central to the historic part of Dijon, and a short taxi ride from the station. We took a "superior" room that was competitively priced, and it was very spacious, and could have accommodated a family. The hotel is charming and the staff were very friendly. We recommend it to travelers.

Le Jacquemart was one of the best places we stayed on our Europe trip. The bathroom was huge, and the bedroom was very comfortable with two big windows that opened into small balconies overlooking the street. Both of the people working the front desk could speak English and were always helpful. We have no complaints about this hotel, we would definitely stay here again!

Very French charm hotel. Located in the antiques area of Dijon, if was perfect. Hotel was a very good value at a great price. We loved it! Stairs & niches & my room even had a faux marble fireplace to add ambience. I'd definitely stay there again. Great area for walking around & seeing the whole city. A little pricey for the breakfast so had only coffee & set out for pastries! Wonderful!!

The hotel wasn't as well maintained as it used to be, but otherwise was perfectly satisfactory. We had noticed the hotel a few years ago and were charmed, but now the condition is not what it used to be. The little mussels restaurant just up the street was wonderful.

We have spent two days in Dijon, and the hotel has been very comfortable. The room was lovely and the relationship between price and quality was good. The employees have been charming and competent. Only the breakfast seemed not adequate to the rate of the other services.
