A very lovely hotel, clean and well appointed. Staff were charming and friendly. Location is fine but some may find its position on a roundabout not to their liking, it did not bother our party. Breakfast was superb, the fresh orange maker - from fresh oranges - a real treat and teh availabilty of bacon, sausage and egg in addition to continental was very welcome. We had one issue with a faulty shower that was fixed very promptly. You will not be disappointed staying here.

The Hotel is locating in a area without restaurants and don´t have any service of foods in the it own structure. We did not have a car them it was a problem to reach where lunch or dinner,we are a couple more of 75......

Misleading description of hotel location.It is some distance from Desenzano del Garda. (15 euro by taxi!) Restaurant not open for dinner!

I stayed in June 2008 and was very pleased with the services provided. The hotel is very clean, quite rooms, and a healthy breakfast bufffet. I stayed in the top view room with a balcony with a panoramic view of the lake. The guy at the receiption Marcelas top gentleman very supportive including the bar and the breakfast ladies and the driver too. Desanzano train station and Sirimione are 10 mins by drive. We were picked up from the station and on the second day dropped us at the local restaurant free of charge.I will diff stay in Palace hotel if I go again.

Hotel facilities excellent and staff more than friendly. However hotel some distance from Desenzano and Sirmione and getting taxi back to hotel from either town particularly at weekend impossible. Suggest Hotel offers pick up service from Desenzano and Sirmione.

Excellent and spacious rooms. great buffet breakfast with eggs that is included in price. everything else mentioned in the services of the hotel are charged extra - internet, in house cinema etc. location is quite far from both desenzano as well as sirmione - you need a car or taxi. Bus stop is very close though and there is a bus every hour or so for brescia-desenzano-sirmione-verona. property is not on the beach. there are beachside properties, then a road; cross the road and then you get to palace hotel. we could not check the beach as weather was bad. we did not carry umbrellas and it was nice that the hotel offered us umbrellas. overall a nice place.
