Hotel Villa Rosa Desenzano - Desenzano del Garda

Best hotel we stayed in during our 2 weeks in Italy. We had a superior room which was a duplex room with a large lounge and 2 bathrooms. Fantastic! All day cafe serves snacks and for aperitivo hour free prosecco and beer. Go there!! Divine

Great hotel, right next to the lake and spacious rooms, nice balconies. Will return if I next visit lake garda.

Excellent location in a quiet zone across from the lake. The hotel restaurant was excellent, and reception staff were especially welcoming. Restaurant across the street was also good. Embarcadero for boats to other lake villages is within an easy walk.

A very nice hotel, friendly service, near to the center of Desenzano in a quiet small parc. We would be happy to come again

It is a very nice Hotel, on a wonderful location, but the rooms are very noisy. For a Hotel of this class that is not o.k. The breakfast was excellent and the view of the terrace is wonderful. The employees were very friendly and helpful.

The overall impression of Villa Rosa Desenzano is very good indeed. Staff really helpful,they even provided us with a coffeemaker that was not included in the prescribed amenities. Location is perfect; only the surrounding area could be a bit more spacious.

The hotel villa rosa desenzano is quality itself. beautiful breakfast, lovely pool, quiet and picturesque surroundings, as well. the room was on the small side, but the bed was super comfortable, we had a terrace and great view of the lake. the staff was friendly and helpful. the town offers a variety of restaurants and shopping. take a boat trip around the lake and visit other towns. the restaurant across the street at the beach is authentic and inexpensive. take a cab from the train station, however, though it is a nice walk if you're up for it. we came by way of venice and enjoyed the relaxation. highly recommended!

Stayed in desenzano as group for daughters wedding. Hotel was excellent, lovely and clean and would gladly recommend to others

Difficult to improve

Just returned from our wedding blessing honeymoon, Desenzano Del Garda what a lovely place, very pretty, romantic and a bit pricey, hotel was excellent, breakfast super, plenty of choice and lovely terrace to admire the lake from over breakfast. rooms were spacious and very clean and an excellent bathroom with 2 showers over the bath, the balcony was a high brick wall as we were on the 1st floor which looked onto the carpark, could just see the lake, would have liked a better view but the prices get higher, pool area always full and no beds left, but nice beach over the road. 10 min walk to the centre for the ferry and all restaurants, took a ferry to a few places up the lake which was fab, overall- a very very nice hotel but a lot of guests were overdressed even for breakfast

Beautiful hotel in an excellent position, very convenient for travelling on the ferry. Was every bit as lovely as the photographs showed. Staff were very friendly. Lots of lovely little touches which made all the difference. Absolutely immaculate. Would definately recommend this hotel to anyone considering travelling to Lake Garda

Beautiful hotel with excellent friendy service. Directly next to the lakeside (although the road does pass between the hotel frontage and the lake) and a short walk into Desenzano. I would not hestitae to recommend the hotel and Desenzano itself - both are relaxed yet stylish.

Garden/pool not so spacious, for other things all well done.

Reception: emplooy profesional breakfast: very nice, ex. fresh oranges to drink icluded in the price of beddedroom.

Friendly and helpful staff. Large clean room and bathroom with big bed. Excellent buffet breakfast with fresh fruit and plenty of choice. Good location on the lakeside only a short flat walk from town centre and restaurants, bars and boat services. Altogether a very pleasant stay.

Perfect location, very comfortable, a great pleasure to stay in this hotel

Great location just outside the old town center. very modern in style with lots of space in lobby and veranda. Also has an attractive pool (which we didn't use, but it looked inviting).Fresh flowers in public areas; helpful staff. Room was large, well-cleaned, nicely made up. Breakfast was fresh, abundant and varied. And topping it off, Desenzano del Garda is a neat place to visit. As we came into the plaza, a burst of live music came from around the corner; here was a multi-age band of about 16 players from age 12-60. The first number was Hotel California, followed by YMCA followed by When the Saints go Marchimg in and about 30 minutes more. The obvious enthusiam and musicality of the band members and their engagement with the sizable audience was wonderful. Yes, we would come back; and the Villa Rosa is excellent value.
