Hotel Berta - Desenzano del Garda

A lovely, friendly hotel. Exellent position for sightseeing the area and next to towns like Verona, Venice, Mantua, Bergamo ,Trento with the Dolomites. Easy to reach , next to 2 highways exits and to the railways-station. Very welcoming reception and a rich breakfastbuffet. Nice rooms with balcony with flowers and some with lake view .

Very pretty hotel, with lake view, and a nice swimming-pool. Very helpful staff, warm atmosphere, and a big breakfastbuffet with home-cooked cakes, fresh fruit-salad, and a lot of kind of croissants. The lake is 300 mt from hotel with a nice chiosque, where you can drink delicious spritz (italian aperitivo) enjoying the beauiful sunset-

Interesting to share the menu with a group of Danish tourists. Food therefore more international but very good.

This was a lovely hotel with very friendly and helpful staff. The facilities were excellent, inc food, service and cleanliness. Only down side was location of the hotel itself as it was pretty isolated. Its an ideal base if you have a car but not much close around entertainment wise. Nearest place of interest 20min walk away. Local bus stop 5min walk bus service not very regular. 10min to the supermarket. The only reason i would not return to this hotel is because of its location.

The rooms were somewhat outdated and dark. The shower leaked on the floor after every use. The floors didn't feel as clean as we would have preferred. Breakfast was included but didn't offer the best variety.

I would certainly recomend this Hotel to any of my friends. The Staff was very friendly, and service was excellent (even better then some 5 & 4 star hotels I visited in Paris, London & Netherlands). The only thing missing is the in room fridge. All else : JUST PERFECT!

Bon hotel, chambre très correcte et spacieuse. Hotel sur la ville de Desenzano mais plus près de Sirmione.
