The Hotel Cresta Sun is situated in the internationally famous ski and health resort of Davos, in the Grisons region of Switzerland. The hotel, built in the modernist style popular in Davos, enjoys a central location. It is close to the cross-country ski trails, an 18-hole Championship golf course and several interesting shopping facilities.
We offer bright and spacious rooms, for the most part with balcony and impressive views over the surrounding mountain ranges.

The standard double rooms are exceptionally small, I would recommend booking a room with a balcony if your stay is longer than 1 or 2 nights. I found the staff of the hotel to be extremely welcoming, efficient and competent and would definitely book this hotel on my return trip to Davos Platz.

The hotel didn't have all the services due to low snow season (for exemple no swimming pool or poor breakfast); but nobody said to us.
How to reach Hotel Cresta-Sun
By car
From Zurich airport, go in direction Zurich, then the expressway in direction Chur. Stay on the Chur expressway way until the Landquart junction, then take the main road to Davos (approximately 45 minutes driving time).
In Davos, drive for about 1.5 km along the promenade up to the Kongress Hotel. Turn left down Hertistraße, then the next left again along Talstraße. After 100 meters, you are right in front of the Hotel Cresta Sun.
By train
From Zurich airport, take the streetcar to Zurich central station. Change to the regional train and go to Sargans/Landquart/Chur. Change in Landquart and take the train to Davos to the station Davos-Platz. (approximately 3 hours traveling time).

METHODS OF PAYMENT
Venere.com does not debit your credit card for your reservations. You will be asked to insert your credit card details which will be sent to the property only as a guarantee of the reservation. The bill will then have to be settled directly at the hotel. In case your chosen hotel needs a deposit, this information will be included in the "Cancellation policy" section and the deposit will have to be settled directly with the pre-selected property. It is not possible to cancel your reservation if you selected and booked a room indicated as "PREPAID/NOT REFUNDABLE". In this case, the total amount of your stay will be charged to your credit card by the hotel at the time of booking.
CHECK-IN & CHECK-OUT
Check-in: the rooms are available from 2 p.m. We kindly ask our guests, if at all possible, to arrive not later than 10 p.m. and to call us in case of later arrivals.
Check-out: it is necessary to leave the rooms not later than noon.
INCLUDED/NOT INCLUDED IN THE PRICE
Parking in the hotel parking lot is included in the price.
Parking in the garage costs CHF 15,00 daily.
The shuttle service is included in the price.
Breakfast is included in the price.
CANCELLATION POLICY
If a client has to cancel his/her reservation, the following cancellation
fees will be due, pending on the date of receipt at the Cresta Hotels in
Davos:
- If cancellation is received 21 days prior to arrival: free of charge
- If cancellation is received between 20 and 7 days prior to arrival: 50% of
the total stay
- If cancellation is received less than 7 days prior to arrival, in case of no-
show or early departure: 100% of the total stay
You may cancel your reservation without penalty up until 7 days before your arrival date, by accessing the Your Reservations page. It is not possible to cancel your reservation if you selected and booked a room indicated as "PREPAID/NOT REFUNDABLE".
