Cremona Hotels Delle Arti Design Hotel - Cremona

My boyfriend and I needed one stopover on our way from Venize to Asti, and we wanted to stay at a design hotel for one night. Delle Arti proved a good choice. Very cool interior and exterior, good-sized standar room, lovely linen, bathroom tiles that I wanted to take home with me and it is a great idea to offer an art exhibition in the breakfast room. Other perks are the small gym, Turkish steam room and jacuzzi (not crowded, I was the only one there for 30-40 minutes). Breakfast included local treats (salami, special cheese, cakes, etc) in addition to the regular stuff. Very close to the main attractions and good shops. You pay for parking (consider street parking instead on weekends) and in-room Internet and wi-fi in lobby, but there is one computer available to check things quickly at no cost. Despite a breakfast attendant who tried to make as much noise as possible clearing tables and receptionists with a slight arrogant air about them (fear of non-Italian speaking guests?), I could easily have spent 1-2 more nights at this hotel.

Communication at the hotel is limited for English speaking guests, therefore, information is incomplete. For the price, all facilities should be working. The spa/fitness facility was NOT available. The complimentary breakfast was uninspired -- short of high quality products.

The temperature of public bath(whirlpool)was keeping low level,it's about 37.5C. It's unusual for us Japanese. We usually enjoy hot bath, it's around 42c. Please think over this point.

No inhouse restaurant. Poor bar. No help with baggage. Fairly standard facilities for business visitors. It took us two days to get the room temperature down to bearable levels. But overall adequate and comfortable. Good location for old town centre.
