La Diligence is a family-run hotel located in Crans-Montana, enjoying a breathtaking view over the Swiss Alps and the Rhone valley. In 1990 the hotel was both refurbished and extended in size, and since then modernization and improvement of facilities have always been a priority.

Nice hotel, very cheap but comfortable. The only problem is that you have to walk about 400m for reaching the bus stop (bringing hte ski is not easy!). The hotel is very good (but not as cheap as the hotel).

Although the price quote was "all inclusive" we had to pay CHF 5.00 extra for "visitors tax". The room was quiet with a spectacular view, but poorly furnished, tasteless, the beds have seen better days and the bathroom is low standard. So was the breakfast. CHF 175.00 is by far excessive for the facilities offered.

Along the southern side of the building you can find a vegetable garden that provides the restaurant with a variety of fresh vegetables, aromatic herbs and delicious raspberries during the warm season.
