Excellent reception and competent administration: we forgot a shirt in the room which they put aside and forwarded at our request to an address in France. Very quiet location in a large and beautiful park. Comfort at the level of a 4* hotel. A convenient basis from which to visit Cortona and surrounding region. We particularly enjoyed the restaurant recommended by the receptionist where we had the best meal of our vacation in Tuscany: Canta Napoli, Loc. The buildings are beautifully renovated, keeping the original athmosphere and giving it a sense of exclusivity as well. When wheather is allowing (which it was when we were there) having breakfast outside is absolutely wonderful. The service is excellent and very personal. Staff is very helpfull and caring. When taking a rest near the swimming pool, as it was too hot to do anything else, we were offered a cool drink. When asking about restaurant recommendations we got redirected to excellent places. All in all we were sorry we could only spend two days here.....

We've had a lovely stay at San Pietro. It really is a paradise on earth.The room's decoration was charming. Maybe a little bar at the swimming pool could be installed(we received a glas of fruit juice every afternoon). The sight from the Relais up to the hill with a view of Cortona, was great.

Beautiful setting, not far from hilltop town of Cortona. Lovely breakfast service, very quiet area. (Internet hook-up the most expensive of all the places we traveled in Tuscany.)

The hotel was beautiful and service outstanding. A bit hard to find, but look for the signs. The breakfast was not of the quality for a four star hotel. It was fair.

Great quiet location. Staff helpful with good restaurant recommendations. A little hard to find at the end of a road but worth the effort since quiet, great breakfast and close to town.

We had a marvelous time at the Borgo San Pietro in every way. The room was elegant and quiet, with a wonderful view. The pool was spacious and the grounds immaculate. The breakfast was excellent. And most of all, the staff was gracious and very helpful. They really went out of their way to make our three days memorable, from excellent restaurant recommendations in Cortona to a printed map helping us find the A1 on the way to Florence airport. Our highest recommendation.

By car
From the A1 motorway, take the Valdichiana exit. Then take the S.S.75 highway for Perugia, and exit at Cortona. Then take the S.S.71 highway until you reach Camucia. Then follow the indications for Arezzo. Arrived in Tavernelle, turn right and you will find the Relais Borgo San Pietro hotel.
