Excellent hotel that welcomed our dog "George" as though it was one of their own. Hotel facilities although basic was excellent value.

Located a five minute uphill walk from the station, its a small hotel with no pretensions. Room was comfortable but basic. Service was fine. Breakfast was fairly modest. The manager was friendly and helpful, but with very little English (better than my Italian, though) I was satisfied in general with my stay.

Very nice manager, good location in the city, Cortona is up the road, easy walk from the train station, good rooms, clean, and open late. Overall, a solid hotel.

A typical - negative - approach of the single traveller. Once a double room as could be seen from the bedlights, so why put in a small single bed instead of a queensize of lits-jumeaux?! Indicated fridge and telephone were absent. Extremely noisy both in the hotel (guests & elevator)as well as location near main street. Price of €65 way out of line.

location, location... near train ,long but rewarding walk up steep hill to Cortona but buses run hourly and are cheap. Friendly patron, great countryside and culture. Arezzo well worth visit near only 20 mins by train, car an hour?

location of hotel is closest to main train station serving Cortona ... bus service up to old historic Cortona closeby but very limited service especially on weekends...alternate hotels in old cortona seem to be not available on venere but there are quite a few for such a small delicious medieval place...

The hotel was good value for money. The room was large and clean; the bathroom had everything one required; and staff were polite and helpful. Although the webpage stated that the hotel was only 2km from Cortona it would have been difficult to walk to Cortona; one needed a car.

How to reach Hotel Nuovo Centrale

By car
Arriving from Milan, Florence or Rome on the A1 motorway, exit at Valdichiana. Then continue to Perugia and exit at San Lorenzo - Cortona. Follow the main road until you arrive to Camucia.

By train
Exiting the Camucia train station, go ahead along the main street, the hotel is about 500 meters from the station.
If you arrive in Terontola you have to take a bus or a taxi. Camucia is about 8 km from the station.
