Excellent hotel, well situated (not too far from the citycenter), with wonderful welcome. Food was excellent, but maybe a little bit too recurrent for long stays (> 1 week).

The Menardi staff were very friendly & helpful and there was always someone around to help. It is about 1 1/2 kms out of Cortina on the main road to Dobbiaco (can be noisey at times) but an easy walk up and down the hill via the main road SS51 or the excellent footpath (snow fall dependant). Breakfast was the normal fair. Did not use the restaurant but menu looked good. It has great mountain views from all sides. Would stay here again for 2 main reasons, the staff and the value for money.

The Menardi Hotel is actually two Alpine style buildings located on a small road leading into Cortina. We stayed in what was called the "new building" behind the original. The rooms were clean and quiet and the proprietors and staff are very friendly. We ate dinner in the hotel because of the intense rain during our visit. The food was very good and the selection, for such a small hotel, was excellent. The Menardi is a cozy, clean, conveniently-located establishment. Most of the guests were hikers who accessed their trails from behind the hotel. It is a lovely place and we will definitely return.

Eccellente cucina, rara a trovarsi in un 3 stelle. Splendida disponibilità delle ragazze in sala. Manca l'ascensore e questo è un handicap per gli ospiti.
