Hotel Impero - Cortina d'Ampezzo

Everything was ok, only the brakefast was very poor. Only croissant, rolls, cornflakes, marmelade (various sort), nutela, milk, some soft cheese (like a happy cow or likely) and meat-pie. Absolutely missig some slices of classic cheese and ham or salami. Never seen before. It's a family hotel so the staff is very nice. Out of season: very few restaurants opened.

A staff always worried in help us and inform about verything you ask

The most dog-welcoming hotel I ever been! The owners love dogs and will help you with anything related. There are not green areas around to stroll with the dogs considering we are in the middle of Alps, and the entrance of the hotel is on a traffic road, but the hotel itself is absolutely dog-friendly. Great prices (there is an extra fare of 10 euro per dog but is clearly indicated on their website and at the hotel).

The innkeeper, Pietro, was so personable, helpful, and professional. The room was spacious and spotless-- if a bit noisy facing the main street. (only complaint). We only stayed 1 night and wished we could have stayed longer! I can't remember a hotel where we were more warmly welcomed. Highly recommended.

Staff was wonderfully helpful. Great location and really nice place to stay.

Very comfortable and clean, good breakfast. A little noise in rooms near the steam room.

Enjoyed our stay. The staff was excellent and extremely helpful (and multi-lingual which was the most helpful.) The rooms we had faced the street which can be very noisy in the early night and morning but with the double doors shut, it really isn't an issue.

Nice family owned hotel that is very characteristic for the Cortina both in the design and architecture. A bit old fashioned (furniture older), but nevertheless nice and clean.
