It's not a 3 star hotel! It's a bit far from the town if you want to go out at night for a drink. The rooms are a bit small, but the owner is really nice;Cortina is worth a long stay. You can walk along "the via ferrata" from the hotel.

Hotel Al Larin is a very nice, if slightly dated, hotel. There isn't much to do near the hotel and it is about 2km from Cortina. There is an hourly bus to the town which runs til 8pm. During the day there is a nice walk into town on a ski path. A taxi to/from the town costs about 10€, a little more late at night. There is also free parking in the town centre if you have a car. Apart from the distance to the town, the hotel is perfectly reasonable.

The lady in the reception (owner?) was extremely friendly, and gave us a lot of good advises of where to go and what to see. Our holiday succeeded so well due to the her good guidance. The only problem was that there was no air conditioning in the room. We had to keep the window open and the traffic noice was terrible.

Our only dissappointment was that we couldn't stay longer! Cortina is a really lovely town and Al Larin gives you a perfect view over the mountains . The service was outstanding, the breakfast was delicious and the rooms were perfect. We will be visiting again next year, only for longer. Many Thanks Jake and Shaneen

Nice hotel but on the border of the main highway. Ok for rooms on the back side or on the side. But the owners are very nice people giving very good advises on the walk to be done in Dolomites around Cortina

A recommended hotel. It is located not close to the city center but on the exit road to Dobiaco, which means that you better have a car. Being on the main road makes it slightly noisy, but their double glaze windows decay the noise. The hotel is very pleasant, operated by a very sympathetic Lady and her two daughters, which operate their hotel with a lot of generosity, care and respect. We shall gladly return to this hotel.

This hotel is situated on the outskirts of Cortina overlooking a very picturesque valley. We were met by one of the daughters of the owners in a very welcoming manner. The rooms were clean with beautiful views over the valley. The breakfast was simple but very fresh & inviting. There were severn of us and we all enjoyed our overnight stay. The owners were very helpful with questions about the area, recommending restaurants & travelling onto our next stop in Verona

Extremely cordial, competant and friendly family running a charming property. You need a car, but you should have one anyway. Some very nice drives both north and south from Cortina.

Great rooms for the price. beautiful view of the mountains and town from the room. if you do not have a car do not stay outside of the town center. town center was too far of a walk in the cold. taxis are expensive. perfect place to stay if you want to get out of the town and you have a car.

We stayed in a five star hotel for the week before and it wasn't as nice as Al Larin. The welcoming was lovely, the room and hotel great and the area outstanding. Definately using this place again when we go back.

A comfortable hotel, warm and welcoming. Staff very friendly and helpful. Excellent buffet breakfast. Price/Quality relationship spoilt by 100% levy on room prices posted in reception, possibly due to International sporting event taking place 50km's away.
