A pity that the isolation of the rooms is so bad because, as for the rest, this hotel is perfect : location, kindness and competence of the staff, quality of the food, fantastic natural swimming pool. Great place to stay !

Les Jardins de la Glacière Address : Vallée de la Restonica 20250 - Corte failed to deliver anything. For 80 euro we were given a room which is better described as a dungeon. To put things into perspective there are a load of Japanese students staying at the same place for 420 euros a month. That is a more realistic value. what's wrong: well a lot Airco makes noise but that its best attribute, cooling is a functions which has either been disabled or died. Reading lights at the bed, one side worked the other did not Toilet paper, just a little bit supplied (enough for one toilet visit). There is a system which is supposed to replace an empty roll with a new one but if you don't load a new one it's useless. The reception was arrogant. A note was at the front door to use the telephone to inform the guy that we had arrived. The phone did not work! Used my GSM to contact him and get the keys. The bath room is built with cabinets which are de-laminating as a result of the moisture. This room would maybe be fit for a youth hostile for 10 to 20 euros a night but 80 is really a sad joke Please comment and advise how to get money back for this disturbing night. Finally I would like to know how to make this feedback public since this is not in alignment at all with the experiences found at your web site

Da noi sarebbe un banale albergo 2 stelle in un bellissimo posto, però. E' stato ristrutturato specie nei bagni dove è più moderno. Dovrebbero avvisare che dopo una certa ora non c'è assolutamente più nessuno nella reception. L'ingresso ed i corridoi sono disseminati di passaggi per le valige che si rivelano pericolosissimi anche per i clienti. Proprio davanti al bancone c'è una di queste trappole dove sono caduto, senza conseguenze serie, ricevendo dall'addetto alla reception uno sguardo di commiserazione, come a dire è colpa tua; francamente sono loro che ricevono i soldi e dovrebbero comportarsi in tutt'altro modo. sei

A nice small hotel in a nicely modernized old building. Friendly staff and atmosphere. Excellent breakfast buffet. No meals except breakfast is served at the hotel. Corte centre is 15-20 minutes walk away down the valley. But the nearest hotel 500 meters up the valley has a nice restaurant.

We were very pleased with the Hotel. Surrounding is very nice and you can walk to Corte easily. Children aged under 10 are free in the room of their parents. We could not book this by venere.com! But they were very kind when we complained. Some of the service team at "Jardin de la glaciere" speak english.

Nice hotel. Lovely views down valley and rushing river. Good buffet breakfast. 15 minute walk into town easily done but only in daylight.

We were touring Corsica and stayed in 5 hotels. Apart from this hotel, which was cheaper by 20 euros, all the others were the same price though some were 2 and some 3 star. This hotel was by far the best value for money. The breakfast was really excellent and was very inexpensive. the staff were friendly and welcoming. Thoroughly recommended.

although the hotel was completely full the last night and our supplement night reserved in advance through venere was not confirmed they've managed to host us - four adults and two children. Compliments ! Very nice buffet breakfast.

We had a wonderful stay at this hotel. The staff are extremely friendly and very helpful. We accidentally left a bag in the hotel which they kindly sent home to us. The hotel is about 10 minutes walk from town along an unlit road, so a car or torch would be very useful at night. We didn't have a car (or a torch), but were collected from and dropped off at the train station by a member of staff. Surrounding area is very beautiful and good for walking and bouldering (if you don't mind getting your feet wet). A substantial breakfast is provided - the croissants were huge!! Overall, highly recommended.
