This hotel was right in the middle of the historic town which was perfect for exploring on foot. Breakfast was disappointing as it was toast and I am gluten intolerant. It could get noisy at night with the café below.

I stayed at Plateros for the first time for three nights. They were welcoming, the room was excellent, clean and the bathroom was lovely. The price was very economic, and the Hotel's tables in Plaza Senaca were a wonderful, atmospheric place to sit and have wine with olives. Next time I will try their food (I was at a conference).

The location is good, few minutes walk from the historical center of Cordoba. The hotel is located in a cute square and the staff are friendly.

The double room is quite good but I will not recommend this hotel for the one who drives a car since it has no parking space and it is difficult to find by GPS due to very narrow alley around the hotel. It took me 2 hours in finding the place from GPS recommendation.

Very kind and helpful staff. Perfect location. Dinner very well; breakfast very simple, but costs only 4 euro. Terrible noise of the airconditioner, which means you have to swith 'm off at night.

The hotel is just far enough from the ezquite to be pleasnt; service is excellent, and they have good food. Also close to an unsung archeological museum. Entry patio outside, with statue of Seneca is lovely

We were delighted with this hotel and the very helpful owners. It was friendly, quiet, very accessible and excellent value. The food was great (so good we ate in twice)and having an early morning start one day the owner provided us with a quick breakfast at short notice. He also sent his nephew to the station with us to help sort out a train ticket problem - above and beyond the call of duty! Lovely experience and highly recommended.Thank you.

The hotel is in a very good position to discover the romantic Cordoba, in a little square near the cathedral. The breakfast is not provided, but the room is little but clean and quiet.

What a nice small hotel in Cordoba! We loved the style, location and warm service. It actually felt like there should be a beach right down the block. Small basic rooms rooms, elevator, nice casual restaurant in house, tapas and vino inside or on small patio. Close to all attractions and small outrageous restaurants (i.e. Salinas). I really loved this place. A great VALUE

This hotel is located in a narrow, quiet residential plaza off a main street. Its a little loopy getting there - especially with a car, but certainly possible. Once you get to the main street, call the hotel. Even with our GPS, it was hard to find that little side street. The narrow winding streets of Cordoba are very easy to navigate on foot and the hotel is within walking distance to the Mezquita and several great restaurants. The hotel itself has a small restaurant attached to it as well. Additionally, there is a lovely outdoor seating area and a well-stocked bar in the sunny glassed-patio area on the main level. The service here is flawless. The staff at Plateros made this stay one of our best through a 14-day (multiple-city) tour of Andalucia. Its a quaint, residential style complex decorated in the typical local architecture with white washed walls and lovely wrought iron framed windows. The rooms are very small but perfectly adequate, very quiet and very clean. The front desk staff speaks English, German and Spanish fluently and the hotel has also has elevator access. Definitely would return and certainly recommend to anyone coming to visit Cordoba.

For the second time already, we stayed four nights and did not regret it. Friendly atmosphere in a typical, slightly converted Andalusian house, familiar, no frills, no fakes. Perfect location in the city, no streetnoise. Good value for the money.

It should be noted that it is ESSENTIAL that a hotel in Cordoba HAVE IT'S OWN PAKING.It is not a car friendly City. Car parks are very hard to find as they seem not to be included on road signs!Whilst we enjoyed our stay at the Plateros it does NOT have car paring which proved a great hazard.

We had a very pleasant stay in the hotel Plateros. The receptionist did speak English which helped us with our poor level of Spanish. The only bad point is that it was really not easy to access the hotel by car. Don't trust your GPS!! You will be stuck in a small one way street. I still don't understand the 1* rate of this hotel, my opinion is that it does worth more. Plateros is located in a quiet street, well placed close to Judeiria district, there is a small place in front where you can have a fresh bier and releax with the sound of the fontain, there are some eating facilities in 2 minutes walk (quiet) and some others 10 minutes walk (more active). The only bad point is the parking spot missing, but this is normal in Andalusia, especially in the romantic Cordoba small streets. I definitely recommand this hotel.

Having finally found the hotel - very difficult as maps inaccurate and no exterior signage! - the welcome we received and the service we were offered were well in excess of the price and category of the hotel. Location was excellent for tourism and restaurants and the owner/manager and staff of the hotel were very helpful and thoughtful. Highly recommended

This was our first stay at hotel Plateros: very clean hotel, very helpful owner, well located close to the Archeological museum. We took a taxi from the train station and it only cost us a few euros. Only negative point is that if you are trying to get to sleep early, it can be a bit noisy until about midnight as there is a bodega/restaurant downstairs. Solution: do as the Spanish do and go to bed later. There wasn't a sound during the night!

We stayed on a Friday night at the Plateros, but got little sleep as there was some kind of event on the ground floor until 2am, complete with shouting people and screaming kids. There was a strong smell of drains in the bathroom. Only Spanish channels were available on the TV, and reception was very bad. Although the staff were friendly, in the morning, one person seemed to be making breakfast and doing reception duty, so we had to wait a while to check out. As we waited for a taxi, we tried to ignore a kissing hippy couple in sleeping bags who had slept the night in front of the hotel. An unforgettable stay.
