Hotel Palacete Mirador - Córdoba

Sehr schön gelegen etwas außerhalb im Villen-Viertel an einem Hügel mit Blick über Cordoba. Besonders schön vom komplett verglasten Frühstücksraum aus. Frühstück war sehr umfangreich. Großer kostenloser Parkplatz. Sehr nettes Personal. Pool-Bereich und Garten sollte hin und wieder mal gekehrt werden, sah etwas vernachlässigt aus. Zimmer und Bad war grundsätzlich schön und geräumig. Weniger schön war die stickige, feuchte Luft im Zimmer. Öfter mal lüften, auch wenn keine Gäste da sind! Reste von weggewischten Schimmelflecken waren erkennbar :-(

Acceuil "minimaliste". Cet hôtel vaut surtout pour sa situation exceptionnelle; la vue depuis le restaurant est splendide; malheureusement, petit déjeuner décevant et au restaurant, la cuisine n'est pas du tout à la hauteur. Par contre, au début de l'avenue del Brillante, (au bas de la colline), se trouve un excellent restaurant de grillades et poisson : "Meson del Torro", très bon acceuil, qualité de la nourriture et bons vins.

We were offered to stay in a 2-room bungalow -which was an improvement, because the booked room was extremely small. The location is very nice, calm and you have an overwhelming view from the dining area.

Robot receptionist, bad bed with pothole, shower in bathtub on slopeside, bathroom without grips, window latch out of order, lack of sound insulation between rooms and/or aisle, noisy electric motor outside day and night, view blind wall.

The hotel is modern, clean, quiet, with large public areas (nice view on Cordoba from the large breakfast/dining-room)and outdoor conveniences (open-air parking, swimming pool, garden, etc). Rooms are comfortable (suites are available for families). Excellent buffet breakfast and good menu at moderate price. Very good value for money. Only one problem : the hotel is 5km from Cordoba, a long walk to nearest bus stop, so a car is needed (but parking in Cordoba is not so easy).

The location of the hotel in the hills above Cordoba allows a beautiful view, and the outdoor swimmingpool is really big and nicely located. But you definitely need a car to get to the ciy centre - and there a parking space...

Sehr schönes Hotel mit einer fantastischen Lage am Berg mit super Blick auf Cordoba! DIe gesamte Hotelanlage mit Gartenanlage, Pool, Tennisplätzen und Parkmöglickeiten sind sehr gut! DIe Zimmer sind gut, Klimaanlage ist auch gut, die Betten sind auch recht gut (knarren allerdings sehr!), das Bad ist ebenfalls gut. Der Frühstücksraum ist fantastisch mit Blick über Cordoba! DAs Frühstück war auch in Ordnung. Die gesamte Hoteleinrichtung ist "auf alt" gemacht aber sehr geschmackvoll! Leider sind die Zimmer recht hellhörig, es ist insg. aber nicht zu laut. Eine Dame an der Rezeption war nicht besonders freundlich! Dafür gab es aber einen anderen Kollegen, der wiederum sehr freundlich war. Das Hotel liegt wirklich außerhalb der Stadtgerenze, d.h. der Weg in die Innenstadt ist weit - mit dem Taxi ca. 15 Min. zu einem Preis von genau 9,00 Euro. Grundsätzlich ist das Taxi zu empfehlen, da die nächste Bushaltestelle ca. 15 Min zu Fuß entfernt ist! Außerdem würde die Busfahrt auch zu lange dauern - ich schätze mind. 30 Min. oder mehr. Man sollte das eigene Auto lieber stehen lassen, da die Parkmöglichkeiten begrenzt sind (viele der Innenstadt Parkhäuser waren voll) und das Parken auch recht teuer ist. Am Ende ist es mit dem Taxi genauso teuer und man hat sich den Fahrstress gespart! Trotz der entfernten Lage würden wir beim nächsten MAl wieder hier einchecken! Die Umgebung war einfach super, außerdem liegt das Hotel am Rande eines der schönsten Wohnvirtel, d.h. es gibt nicht weit vom Hotel ein paar schöne Restaurants und Tapa Bars (man muß also deswegen nicht gleich in die entfernte Innenstadt). Insg. schönes Hotel mit gutem Preis-Leistungsverhältnis. Am besten geeignet für Leute mit eigenem Auto, da es außerhalb liegt. Wir kommen wieder!

We stayed for 3 days and we were satisfied, especially the waiters are nice and the prices of the beverages are reasonable. Our general experience where great.

The only problem we had was finding the hotel , the name was changed , but we were not told , and as it was late when we arrived we could not ask anybody for directions. Also the restaurant food and wine was poor, apart from that it was very good value for money .
