Excellent hotel - although expensive, would stay there again. Hotel and rooms are cosy and friendly. Both the interior and the exterior rooms were quiet, although the exterior one may vary by season. Beds comfortable. Overall very clean. Location perfect. Valet parking available for 20 Euro per day. The PCs with Internet in the rooms are a nice touch, but we prefer WiFi for easy access on own laptop. Call beforehand to get directions - Spanish town centers are extremely challenging to navigate by car (would be nice to have detailed driving instructions on the web site).

Great little hotel in the historical town centre, beautifully appointed, polite and friendly staff, great value for money. We liked the free internet PC in the room and the nice breakfast. Much better than the chain hotels in a similar, slightly lower price bracket we stayed at in the area. Maybe a bit difficult to find and difficult to drive to - the streets were getting narrower and narrower, but our rental Golf with folded side mirrors just made it through without scratches... But staff can help you park your car in a nearby private garage, you won't need it anymore as you are right in the town centre. We'd definitely stay there again.

The reception on our arrival was the poorest we have ever got. The young man at the reception desk was in such a sober mood as if we should not have turned up to disturb him. He was on duty from time to time during our five-day stay and his attitude was the same. A person with such an attitude should not have stayed in a hospitality industry. However, I must give credit to the young lady on the reception desk who had always been cheerful. I was indeed very grateful for her help in chasing up with DHL regarding the delivery of my new credit card.

How to reach Hotel La Hospedería de El Churrasco

By car
Once in Cordoba, follow signs to the city centre and go to avenida de la Victoria avenue. You will see the AC Hotels Córdoba Palacio hotel. Once in avenida de la Victoria, keep right and, when you see Laguna pharmacy, turn right into calle de Lope de Hoces street and then right again into calle del Tejón y Marín street (one way street except for guests of La Hospedería de El Churrasco). Go straight and you will reach Romero street. The hotel is located in the Judería district.

Guests travelling with a GPS navigator can easily reach the hotel by inserting calle del romero, 38 in the navigation system.
