Wonderful location across the street from the Mesquita, which is especially handy because the mosque is free up to 10 am - and less crowded early on. We were only overnighting, but everything was excellent. Room spacious, quiet because internal, with a balcony onto a charming patio. Breakfast room and quality good, price 5 euros. Reception area beautiful. Staff very helpful (we arrived late because planned trains booked out).

Absolutely IMPOSSIBLE to actually get to hotel by road because of major roadworks we were not told about - even if we had been able to access hotel, there was nowhere to park, even whilst unloading car as it is right NEXT to Mezquita in old town with narrow cobbled streets. The car park belonging to hotel was a LONG walk away with suitcases so had to park in road with meters and keep "feeding' them! Was not aware that the room did NOT have window to outside world, only internal courtyard - felt very claustrophobic!

The hotel was not easy to find and whilst we did easily park for free, the parking was over the river about 10 mins walk away. The hotel was very difficult to find. This was not helped by the fact that the signage did not give the full hotel name. I think it said something like hotel vallina It would be easier to park close to the cathederal, walk to the bottom end of the cathedral and find it first. You could check your bags in then go move the car to the free parking. Otherwise a nice small hotel and ideally situated for sightseeing. The cathedral is the best place to go - inside it is amazing!

What a beautiful and comfortable hotel right beside the Mesquita. Perfect position for sightseeing, the room was comfortable and quiet and the staff were very pleasant and helpful. It was just as well that the hotel was so convenient as we had to retreat from the heat every afternoon. Would recommend this hotel happily.

Charming hotel and excellent location. Due to it going to be the european capital in 2016 there is a lot of work going on. Unfortunately right behind our hotel and this did wake us up at 7.30 a.m with drilling and hammering!! You could hear adjoining rooms too. The car park was 5 minutes walk away not too bad but very tight space given to us don't have number 191. Overall though pretty good Breakfast could have been better by having yoghurts,there were none. No cereals just ham and cheese (german) and croissants (french) but adequate bread for toasting so we did not starve.

Nothing on the Vener website or the hotel website indicated that many of the rooms only had windows onto a dark central covered courtyard - very claustrophobic. Otherwise superb location and we had a good stay

This was a lovely hotel right next to the Mesquita so perfect for popping back to during the day.The reception area and two public rooms were delightful, one cosy and one very open with lots of plants including a divine jasmine. I can still smell it! My only critisism of this hotel is the breakfast, just adequate but very little choice and nothing cooked.

Simply beautiful. Perfect position. Clean, spacious, friendly - the only drawback was that we only stayed one night. Couldn't choose a better position for sightseeing - what an amazing place!

Only issue was noise from other rooms - which was only a small problem once in a while. Luckily, the "noisy neighbors" were there just one night. Desk staff very helpful and eager to provide advice. They tended to recommend pricey restaurants, and we preferred to dine cheaper so didn't take them up on their recommendations. Found great tapas at the end of the block to the east.

Best hotel we stayed while in Spain. Everything was included in the price, like internet and breakfast. It was a great deal. The only problem was getting in from the road. A bollard blocked the road and could not access without help of a taxi to lower. Need some better signage. But great deal.

We have been to Cordoba the first time for 2 days. We liked the hotel very much. It´s situated in the centre directly beneath the mezquita, so that you can get to all highlights by foot. In the night it`s not completely quiet, but it`s ok. The rooms are nice and very clean, the breakfast is international and ok. People are very friendly. The inner courtyard and the TV-room are very nice.

We had an overnight stay in Cordoba. The receptionist at the Hotel Hcienda was very helpful as regards recommending restaurants, directions to the various sites. We were able to park our car in a space adjoining the hotel which was great. Can't wait to go again.

We stayed in this hotel in March 2008, and we payed 70 Euros per night including breakfast. The location is excellent, right next to the Mezquita, the important sights can easily reached by foot. Breakfast was good, and the room was very nice. However, the windows were not soundproof, so we could clearly hear every car that passed on the cobblestone street below. Although the street was not busy, this was a bit disturbing.

the hotel had just reopened right before our stay so everything was still a bit in the making. but that didn't affect the quality of the accomodation or the service at all but rather added to its charme. the interior of the hotel displays impressive remains of the building's past and the service of the staff was excellent.
