Hotel Conde de Cardenas - Córdoba

The hotel is incredibly difficult to find, but well worth it once you do! Beautiful rooms, and situated in a great part of town near the Mesquite. Now that we know where it is, we would stay there again.

This is an excellent little hotel in a beautiful and fascinating city and I would go back without hesitation. The 12 or so rooms are all based around a beautiful tiled courtyard, over 3 levels. (Note - there's no lift owing to the structure of the hotel - we didn't find this to be a problem at all but if you have difficulty with stairs it might be best to request a ground floor room) The welcoming was very friendly and helpful. Each room is designed slightly differently and the two we had were certainly finished to an exceptional standard - very high quality bathroom, comfortable bed and classy decor. The air conditioning is modern and efficient and has a very quiet (almost silent) mode. The only thing I would change about this hotel is to maybe add a small bar (even if based at reception) because it would be nice to enjoy a pre-dinner drink in one of the lovely tiled terraces. The hotel is about 10-15 minutes walk from the train station and maybe 10 or so to the mezquita (via a fascinating route through the old town) There's an excellent choice of food and even around the mezquita, this doesn't seem to be expensive, although prices vary from one place to another of course. There are also plenty of places for breakfast and dinner, in and around Plaza de las Tendillas, within just a few minutes of the hotel and we found food to be exceptional value in Cordoba. Thoroughly recommended!

Great place to stay. The staff was very kind and helpful. I would recommend this place to anybody traveling to Cordoba.

If you are on tour by car it is not easy to find a car park - hotel is situated in a pedestrian zone

Great location to explore Cordoba. If you plan to come with a car, look at google maps to arrive at a site street to bring your luggage to the hotel. I parked at a public garage not to far away. Very cosy place to visit Cordoba, would recommend it to a friend

We were so lucky to find this hotel on the net and to be honest it is much nicer than the pics suggest it. The staff is really helpful, nice and just does a great job. We felt really comfortable and enjoyed our stay. The rooms a freshly renovated and the quality of the beds is perfect. We totally recommend that hotel for all the people who want a nice place to stay while they explore the nice city of Cordoba. It is located within perfect walking distance and even the light breakfast served in a Cafe around the corner could not minimize the overall rating. That is a perfect value for money - all you need for a perfect time there. Thank you very much for the pleasant stay. It is fun to travel if you find a place like that. But please if you think you need a master breakfast consider the price before you give bad ratings.

It is an old house (renovated) in the hearth of Cordoba. Breakfast (included) has to be consumed in a cafè nearby. Splendid patio with jasmine, 12 rooms only. Excellent and different
