The Saga Hotel is absolutely value for money. Close to the main railway station, friendly staff, free wifi, a low price and a surprisingly nice breakfast makes it a great deal in Copenhagen. The surrounding area is not the nicest, but the qualities of Hotel Saga makes up for that.

The hotel is very basic. The quietness of the rooms is very bad, you can hear everything. Also minus is that you have to share showers. A very good plus is for the breakfast, i should give the breakfast 9/10 because there's many of choice. Breakfast could easily go on a 3*** hotel. The people at the lobby are very friendly and helpful.

Toilets and shower common for a lot of rooms. Toilet and showers are very small room. If you're tall you can't enter the toilets!

We chose this hotel because it was the cheapest hotel with a central location, breakfast and the possibility to cancel the reservation. It's an ok hotel, nothing fancy, but didn't expect it to be either. The room/bathroom was small and a bit worn. Cleanliness ok, but could be a bit better in my opinion. The breakfast was ok, not much to choose from, but the bread was fresh - that's a plus. The staff was nice. The walls and the doors aren't exactly sound proof in this hotel.. We had our own bathroom, but the shared bathrooms were close to our room, and we could hear people talk quite loudly outside our door (I woke up a few times). The hotel is very close to the main train station, makes it easy to access. 15 min or so with train from Kastrup, then a few minutes to walk to Saga. Strøget, Tivoli, Rosenborg, Amalienborg +++ is in close range. We walked all the time, didn't use train/bus/metro once (except from arrival/departure day). I would recommend this hotel to young people on a low budget. It's ok for a few nights - for a longer stay I would recommend something a wee bit fancier.

Nice clean room. Depending on who else shared the hall with us it could be quiet or very noisy. We keep regular hours, when there were a lot of younger folks talking and walking about the hall at late hours it was noisy, not a lot of sound proofing at this hotel. Very nice breakfast included.

Great Location! Walking distance to sites, shopping, restaurants, etc. Good breakfast. Street side rooms very noisy; no elevator so get rooms on first floor, no air conditioning. Nearby Hotel Nebo better value.

Good hotel, location is perfect to visit Copenhagen by foot! Welcoming at the hotel is perfect and the possibility to leave your luggage in a specific closed cabinet the last day of the visit with no extra charge was very appreciated. Rooms are clean and well maintained. A perfect place to stay for a week-end in Copenhagen!

Sure, normally every hotel these days offers a toilet in the room and not just 2 for a whole floor, but this is kopenhagen and the hotel is cheap so nothing to complain

It was a two star with shared facilities, so we weren't expecting miracles, but couldn't help feel a bit dissapointed - we had come from Stockholm where we had a central 4* hotel and paid £15 less!! The lime green tiles around the sink weren't pretty, but the room was clean and the tv was good. The shared bathrooms/toilets weren't very appealing and there weren't enough toilets. Ideally suited for arrival by train, being next door to central station and Tivoli. Had a front facing room, which was noisy with the windows open. Staff were friendly and the buffet continental breakfast was good. All-in-all it was OK, budget accomodation, in an expensive place at a busy time of year. But, I wouldn't rush back.

For a hotel near Tivoli and train station for quoted price and short stay (long weekend) this is good place to stay. I knew I booked a room w/o bathroom, but this was down the hall and virtually always available and clean. Book this hotel if you ar only goint to sleep there and a quick and simple breakfast. I think there were quite a couple of groups (schools) booked in. Walls are a little on the thin side when taking noise into account. But it did not really bother us.

Rooms were very small but functional. Location was central but seedy at night and very noisy. Was near reasonably priced, restaurants which is useful in Copenhagen. Our biggest complaint was about the Internet. Ad said there was Internet in rooms, but it was very expensive. There was supposed to be free wi-fi in the common rooms but it wasn't working and the receptionist flailed helplessly when asked about it. When they still couldn't get it fixed by the last day, another receptionist finally gave us a credit to use the LAN in our room for free.

The only negatives were the lack of a lift (elevator) to reach upper floors and no eggs for breakfast! This made life difficult for a vegetarian.

As Copenhagen is a rather expensive city - we think that quality vs. price could not be any better. We can recommend it to anybody looking for an accommodation (no matter if rooms are rather small) near the city center. Our suggestion to the hotel: to renew the entrance doors/locks to the rooms. New doors would also eliminate noise you hear from other guests coming back to their rooms or going to take a shower. Copenhagen is a beatiful city!

Location of the hotel is very good, esp. if you are coming by train to Copenhagen. Rooms were tidy, enough space for bigger luggage as well. Breakfast was ok, even me being a vegetarian it was mostly bread and coffee.

When we arrived to the Saga hotel we were offered a room with a sink instead of a bathroom we had reserved. As the hotel was fully booked they couldn´t give us another room. The room certainly did not meet our standars so we moved right away to this other hotel nearby.

We didn't have a "double bed" as stated in the reservation for our bedroom. Moreover, the third bed was not even a bed but the staff had the courtesy to give us another bedroom. They were very kind but the size of the rooms is way too small for three people, thus for groups. Kind regards.

El hotel esta muy bien situado, al lado de la estacion, del tivoli, de la plaza del ayuntamiento y de la famosa calle stroget. El desayuno entraba en el precio, habitaciones basicas pero comodas para poder estar. No tiene ascensor.

The personnel were absolutely wonderful! Our rooms were small, but clean. The hotel is near the train station and Tivoli Gardens, but also near an "edgy" part of town with sex shows, etc. The breakfast was a nice continental type. All in all, it was a fairly good value, considering how expensive Copenhagen is.

Hotel prices are higher in Copenhagen than in some German cities for example, like Hamburg and Berlin but more or less similar to those in Italy.

Extremely hot, with no fan or aircon. Noisy, most rooms open to an outside courtyard belonging to locals and drunks. Shared bathrooms not particularly clean and are very tiny and our room was not cleaned on the first day.
