Our biggest problem was finding the Hotel from your directions. We took the train from Copenhagen H as directed. But we found that we should have gotten off at Malmpark station, the second to last stop on that C line to Ballerup. Please change the directions at least for others. If you need to be in Copenhagen this locatin is a bit far, but the trains and metro were fine nonetheless.

Rooms facing the parking lot are noisy in the morning, because of a tremendous echo relating to the U-shape of the hotel. Make sure you bring your own alarm clock, because their wake-up call service never works. Ensure that you inquire whether you are being charged for a service and/or item requested, because they never volunteer this information, and you will be surprised when your final bill comes.

Hotel is a ways out of Copenhagen and somewhat inconvenient. The price compared to hotels in the city is fair. Inexpensive to to take train to the hotel and difficult to get a taxi. Walk is about 500m. if you get off at the correct station. Do not go to the town of Balarup. Not many people aware of the existance of the hotel or where it is located. Food is expensive by North American standards as everything is in Denmark.

How to reach Hotel Lautruppark

By car
From Copenhagen city center: take Highway 16 and exit at Bagsvaerd Ballerup Lyngby (Exit 6). Go through Gladsaxe and take road O4 (ring road 4), direction Ballerup Hareskovby. After Hareskovby, proceed on the O4. Go through Herlev, then turn left on Klausdalsbrovej, and right in Lautrupparken. Enter Ballerup and turn right on Borupvang, where the hotel lies.

By public transportation
From Copenhagen Kastrup International Airport: trains to København H station (Copenhagen central station) leave every 10 minutes.
From København H station: take the S-tog line C, direction Ballerup, and get off at the last stop. The hotel is 0.3 miles (500 meters) from the train station.
