this hotel is a perfect homebase in kopenhagen. you are near to the shopping district as well to tivoli as well to the train/metro station. it`s a beautifull old house with an impressive atrium. the room was a little bit small, but clean and quiet. thank you for the free breakfast and free minibar!!! i warmly can approve " Kong Frederik" !!!

This hotel was the group of First Hotel. The reception selected the room of street side of top floor for me. So I enjoyed the night view of Tivoli Park, Radhuset. And there is the city circle bus stop in front of the hotel, it is very convenient when you go to Copenhagen Central station with your heavy suit case!

Very nice hotel. Friendly and professional staff. Possible to check in on arrival at 8.30 am. Lovely traditional feel about the place. The bar was to our surprise closed when we returned to the hotel at 11.45 Saturday evening.

1. The hotel has a very nice inner yard with a glass roof. But they give it for public functions and, for rooms facing inwards like ours, it can be very noisy until very late. This happenned to us and we stayed up half the night. 2. The beds were too soft and the duvee provided very thick. When we asked for lighter covers they said they don't have any. 3. TV should have programs with cartoons for children, like Boomerang or others. This is really unforgivable, many families travel with children.

Hotel staff were very friendly and courteous and were able to provide restaurant recomendations and tourist information. Hotel was very close to the west end of the Stroget and Tivoli. I walked with luggage to the central train station easily.
