Dragør Badehotel - Copenhagen Airport Hotel - Dragør, Copenhagen

We read all the bad comments about this hotel and our expectation for this hotel was not the best. But we found that we cannot share the opinion of many of the other comments. We enjoyed our stay very much. The room was very nice and clean, the bathroom was new, the view from the balcony is wunderful and the only noise wakeing us up was from the goose on the fields infront of the hotel. Dragor is a wonderful little town and you feel like in a livining museum, beautyful. The breakfast in the hotel was not extraordinary but quite good and the bread was excellent.We slept very well - the beds feeled like you lay in a soft cloud. We once had a little problem in the bathroom, but within 30 min everything was fixed again. All people were polite and tried to help. We enjoyed our stay there very much and the only thing we could say is, that the price is too high for a 3star Hotel. We stayed another 2 days in copenhagen center and there we payed the same price for a 4star hotel inkl. Breakfast. Anyway, It is a fine Hotel in an amacing and romantic little town.

Our room was old and little, the bathroom was not clean enough and crumbling. We asked a seaview room at top floor and we had a room in a depandance on the street.

Everything was ok.Very beautiful surrounds and very quite too.

Unfortunately it was not many hours as we had to sleep due to a celestial partying at the hotel. It hit the wall and was noisy.

At the hotell they didn't find our reservation at their system!!! We where party of seven people (4 adults and 3 child), but it was our luck that they had their family room available. The room window was so swollen that it didnt get closed. There was a thunderstorm at night so the room fllor was totaly wet at the morning.

Bathroom was six x six. Water from shower flowed across the bathroom floor to drain under the sink. Paint was peeling everywhere and it smelled like they had a raw sewage problem. Picture on website looked like it was on the water, when in fact it was 400 yds. away.

So-called "Garden View" room had a view of the parking lot. Room was tiny and unattractive. It had paper-thin walls so that sounds of neighbors came through as though they were in our room.

We were charged extra to use a credit card to pay. When we booked, we were told breakfast was included when we checked in were told it was not and there was no discount for not taking breakfast. Our room had spiders. Windows had no screens and did not close completely therefore we had literally hundreds of insects at night. Our room was immediately above the trash disposal area and had the accompanying odor. Water closet was missing the handle therefore was difficult to operate. No soap was provded in the room (luckily had our own). Would not recommend based on our experience.

Great view from rooms on sea side! But tiny bathrooms. We were also surprised about the fact, that a additional fee for credit cards was priced (4%!) which was not quoted before. The rooms offered by Venere are on an additional building. Our room was directly on the street, like a US motel room. We changed that with a higher price (for approx. additional 20Eur per day) to a room with sea view and with balcony. By the way, there was no elevator.
