Hotel Locanda dell'Oca Bianca - Como

We stayed there one night. The room was a little sparse but it served our needs. Good restaurant. Staff was very friendly and helpful.

A very pleasant stay At Locanca dell'Oca Bianca, the room and bathroom was very clean and spacious. You need a car to go to the Como lake.

Excellent evening meal - justifiably in Michelin book, except for the poor quality bread; clearly not their own baking! Large cellar. Breakfast very average and we were given yesterdays, by now quite stale, rolls. Hotel OK as an over night stop but, becasue it is so far out of cemtral Milan it would not be good for a longer holiday stay. There is a bar but not one you could sit in as ut is also reception! Our room was at the top of steps and every guest had to walk by our door to get to their room. AND all rooms face onto the car park so a lot of noise when customers left the retaurant.

Quite a way from the centre of Como and a car is necessary. Very nice restaurant and good breakfast. Room nice and clean. Poor wi fi reception in room, need to go to restaurant area for a good connection. Morning staff don't speak English but communication was still OK, they were happy and polite. Evening staff very good English and waiter gave excellent service in restaurant.

Pasamos solamente una noche en la Locanda pero nos quedamos encantados con el sitio y con la gente que lo gestiona. Absolutamente recomendable.

General hotel comment: we clear asked for connected or next rooms, but unfortunately we got two rooms in different buildings. We like the place and Como area.

We were very comfortable here. Rooms quiet, clean and spacious. Staff was exceptionally friendly and helpful. A little difficult to find at first as it is a few Kilometres from the town center and your own transport is necessary. Had dinner in the hotel restaurant one evening and found the food superb! Am very happy to recommend this place to anyone...singles, couples, family for both leisure and business.

Brand new hotel which offers good value for the price you pay. Freindly staff and good location to visit the region. I would recommend this place however we had the room on the road side and it wasn t the quiestest one. Nonetheless the price / quality ration is excellent. Haven t tried the restaurant but it seemed great!
