Stayed here this weekend and was surprised to find that smoking was allowed in the hotel bar which was adjacent to the hotel lobby and reception area. There was a constant smell of stale cigarette smoke that permeated the entrance.I was under the impression that if there is a smoking room for customers, it has to have closed doors to contain the smell, apparently not here. Other than that, the hotel was great, clean, modern rooms, helpful staff and a great breakfast buffet. If they fixed the doors to the bar I would definitely stay there again.

Had problem commecting to high speed internet, and once connected, high speed was extremely slow. hotel did engage their internet service provider to help solve the connectivity problem, but the speed was not good, taking up valuable time from what was otherwise a great hotel and visit to Koln.

Excellent hotel and good value for money. Staff were very efficient and curteous at all times. Only 10 to 15 minute walk from main rail station and cathedral and easy to find.Website description and reviews very accurate.

The only one negative comment from us can go to the price of WI-FI in the room - it was unreasonably high.

The hotel was making some renstructuration works and this was no good for the public areas'use(lack of space and noise) . I think that this kind of works should be made not in a high season periode(rate 200,-€ per night)
