Beautiful hotel just 150m from the dom of koln. Simple and standard furniture but very clean and quiet room. The staff was very kind and prepared. Free bottle of water at welcoming and free fruit in the hall. Breakfast was great, with big choice for all tastes. Price/Quality rate superb. Advised to everyone

We stayed at apartment Nr. 10 (2 bedrooms). It is the apartment with the large window on the first floor. We loved it actually, it's all a bit 80s style and might be a bit run down here and there, but the hotel staff is so friendly, that really makes up for it. We got free water bottles for the night and fruit. Only the internet quality is really poor, but that didn't bother us.

We stayed in the double and the room was great for two. The only thing we didn't like was that the bathroom was across the hallway. The breakfast that was offered every morning was outstanding. We stayed in Cologne for 4 days.

Excellent hotel for a budget City break, great location even closer to the City that I imagined from the map. Staff were exceptionally informative and helpful, service always friendly and breakfast was excellent and suitable for any tastes. As it is an on street location there was some road noise, if the windows were open, but generally it is a great recommendation for a trip to Cologne especially if price is important. Would go there again.

For the price, you can't do better. The carpets could be shampooed, but everything is in fine condition and clean. Staff is attentive. Breakfast buffet is excellent but not included in the price of the room... come on, at these rates, how could it be?? Be aware, a few of the rooms' windows open to an air shaft. Mine was one of these. I didn't mind, as I was not there much and I appreciated the quiet it afforded, but some guests might object. Overall a good value and a clean, safe place.

Slightly hard to find when you don't speak German but it is a lovely little hideaway for a good price. The desk clerk seemed indifferent but that was fine by us. The breakfast was average but the coffee was good and plentiful. The room we had was slightly larger than what we had become accustomed to. A good, solid value.

This was a lovely hotel except that the street noise was loud. It was much better with the windows closed but then the room was stiffling in the warm summer night. One of our rooms had a bathroom that was across the hallway from the room. The hallway was accessed by only on other room so it still felt private. Location of this property was fantastic, close to the train, downtown, the Cathedral and facing the original Roman fortified wall.

Great hotel, the lady on the desk is very kind, friendly and diligent. The hotel is very well located: nice and quiet area, 5 minutes from the city centre and the main train station (on foot), and 2 minutes from the metro station. Indications how to reach the hotel were perfect and clear!! Very nice breakfast. Good price, good quality. I highly recommend this hotel, and if I will be back to Köln, I will surely stay there again. The steakhouse is also excellent and the owners are very nice.

Good location to Station and Cathedral. On arrival was given room with no bathroom, had to use in hall, but 2nd night changed to bigger room. We booked 2 nights with bathroom so was a bit suprised. Steak house in hotel very good meal and service.

The russian or polish lady who serves breakfast was wonderful. Kind & breakfast was lovely aswell. The others should take her as an example. The guy who is incharge of the steakhouse is a disaster. We saw that he put a steak which had been returned by guests into the chip fryer instead of putting it back on the grill.Very unprofessional.Food wasn't too good either. However,we would stay there again.Located next to the Dom.Staircase is a bit smelly, due to steakhouse on bottom floor.Could do with some room spray and a paint.Bathroom is clean,so is bedroom. All in All,we enjoyed our 3 day stay.

A Wonderful little Hotel to stay!! Great location and a Fabulous Restaurant in the hotel itself as well as one right next to it. A "great" recommendation where one can stay at a wonderful location downtown Cologne at a very (!) reasonable price.

We were that we were staying in the penthouse when we checked in. This turned out to be our least expensive hotel on our trip, yet it was the largest. The rooms were very clean, breakfast was great, staff was very accomidating, and location was close to the train station and main attractions. Wonderful stay!

In fact Köln is a Fairs/Conventions City, and all these kinds of towns are very expensive, too expensive for the Quality we are waiting for just one night. Price ***** for a Quality **/***. But I had a very excellent last-minute price/Quality, because I was up-graded and I paid only 60EUR against 300EUR standard Price (600EUR exhibitions time) . A nice opportunity near the Central Station. The double beds was a disaster, very soft and noisy for all the floors. No lift at the last floor (the main suite). Many stairs, attention with old and handicapped people.
