In general, I enjoyed my stay at this hotel. The room was clean, the air conditioning worked, the shower had hot water, and the breakfast was good. The location was particularly great in that it was only a 7 or 8 minute walk to the central train station (Hauptbahnhof) and Dom Cathedral. The hotel staff were very friendly, spoke English, and provided us with helpful maps of the city. They also let us leave our luggage behind the front desk after we checked out, so that we could get a few more hours of sight-seeing in. I would stay here again and recommend it to friends.

I really liked the location at the end of the main pedestrian street in Koln. The hotel was very clean and the room was huge. They were nice about letting us put our luggage in the room early. It was very convenient for walking everywhere and there were lots of good restaurants nearby. The front desk woman was helpful with recommendations for a good spanish restaurant nearby which was most welcome because my colleague and I were stuffed with german food by that point in the trip.
