Callas Hotel am Dom - Cologne

Nice location, nice breakfast, nice room and nice smile.

The page stated wi-fi internet in the rooms, but it didn't mention it isn't free, and 1 Euro per hour looks to be quite expensive if you need to work for many hours on the net. However really good position, near the station and right into the city center.

Good for few days stay.

The hotel is located right in the middle of everything- shopping, sight seeing, museums, and transportation. it's extreamly close to the main station. rooms were nice and clean. and breakfast was good. the staff is very helpful and welcoming. I had an excellent experience and would recommend it to anyone who wishes to visit Koeln on a budget

They are a fake. I confirmed (and paid) 175 euro instead of the regular price of 75. The bed wasn't a king size, but a single 180x80 cm. The room was only 1,50 wide, absolutely claustrophobic. I left after one night, and they charged also the second - but they said that they would have charged only the one I actually spent there. I've claimed against them in front of VISA.

We only stayed one night, so we wanted a room close to the train station, this was an easy walk. Close to the DOM and the river. The hotel is right on a main shopping street, so it was quite noisy all night(Saturday night). They did have some rooms in the back, that may have not been so noisy. The room was typically small, but adaquate for the price. The breakfast, included in the room price, was excellent.

If you avoid going to Cologne during the fair, the hotel is just perfect. Otherwise, it's overpriced.

The hotel is in a great location, close to shops and within walking distance to the train/bus station.The staff were very friendly and helpfull.

Bon Hôtel dans l'ensemble. Mais la chambre donnait sur la rue principale piétonne assez bruyante jusqu'à tard dans la nuit. L'insonnorisation des fenêtres laisse un peu à désirer.

This is the worst hotel I have ever stayed in.

THis is not acceptable for that price (155€) with 3 stars annouced / Even for any price . NO Lobby / the front desk is at the end of a corridor .The lady (foreigner)was quite unable to speak english . No seats to wait . No bar. So noisy !!! you can ear your neibhour making love (That's true!!) You can ear the toilet flush of all the hotel . The street is so noisy too : commercial street . The TV (or kind of TV)was not working /I asked some help : I am still waiting . It's not helping your site to promote this kind of hotel .

The room was very small and in our opion not of the category (3 stars) as it has been recommended.

The typical 1-star hotel, except for the price and breakfest. The rooms (4th floor) needs repairing: very old furniture, a floor carpet in awful condition, unclean w.c. pan. It seemd nobody was awaiting us inspite of the successful reservation per venere.com. The staff obviously was confused by our arriving (I got the final receipt with a wrong surname).

Troppo comodo per visitare una delle più belle città del mondo in modo economico e agile. Rumorosa di giorno ma silenziosissima di notte.

Great little hotel with warm friedly and helpful staff. Hotel is a few minutes walk from the railway station and easy walking distance to all the main attractions
