Hotel Le Maréchal - Colmar

Most enjoyable. Delightful hotel with a perfect location.

The hotel was a little on the pricy side, but very nice and right in the heart of the historic district. We had a very nice stay there and would definitely stay there again.

Well located in the middle of the old Colmar, this hotel is nice, quiet and people at the reception are kind. It's a nice place to stay more for a couple than for people with children.

Fantastic cosy hotel. Eat in the restaurant. They know what they are doing. Will come back.

We booked a superior room and it turned out that this boasted a whirlpool bath; in fact we would have preferred a decent shower, especially as the baths made a terrific noise and the people in the room above us decided to set theirs going at 3 am one night! Also there was a four poster bed but this was not very large. the hotel would also have benefitted from a nice bar/social area. Colmar itself and the surrounding area are well worth visiting; we walked from St Hippolyte to Haute Koningsbourg and back(a steep climb on the way - 1 and a half hours each way)and also from Ribeauville to Riquewihr and back(some small hills, 1 hour each way). Lots of great bars and restaurants in Colmar.

This hotel is very quaint. Everyone was so helpful. The food is gourmet quality & the dining room is right on the canal. It was wonderful. It is very well located for touring Colmar. Our room was very spacious and the bathroom was even bigger than the bedroom. I would stay at this hotel again.

Very Romantic

The room was large but a bit sad, expecially because of the furnitures. The restaurant is expensive and after 21,30 will give you just one dish and not a full menu (2 dishes, 2 dessert, 2 glasses of wine will be around 100€). The girl at the desk was very kind when we arried but then we were not very satisfied of the service. The position was ok. I don't think that our stay-dinner was worth 250 €. Next time in Colmar I would prefer a 50€ or a 5 star hotel, definetely not this expensive but not fully satisfying solution.

There was a sour smell in the bathroom in room 35. It would have been a very good thing with frre parking outside the hotel. Apart from that: We had some great days at the hotel :-) We will recommend the hotel to anyone who plan a trip to Alsace.

Very romantic!

My partner and I thought the Romantica Hotel excellent in every respect. It was my partners first visit to Colmar it was my second ,the fist time was a flying visit and vowed to return which I did .
