Hotel Le Colombier - Colmar

It was our second time in Le Colombier. And we will certainly come back. The hotel is excellent, and Colmar is a good way to start your holiday! The staff is very friendly and the room was great!

Very nice hotel in a very beautiful city. But also expensive: it is sad that the breakfast is not included in the price.

Fabulous hotel in the part of town that is straight out of a movie set. I could move and live there. People could have been warmer and I resented that when asked for another pillow for a neck problem, the answer was "NO".

An excellent hotel in the centre of town

We occupied 2 different rooms....2 and 26. 2 was on first floor,very spacious with door to courtyard (but courtyard was being painted and we couldn't use it) Our daughter was in 26 and loved it. it was like her little perch upstairs. Fine for younger couple or single person, but not for someone looking for a lot of space. Breakfast was typical for France, but very good and abundant. Employees very helpful and knowledgable. Location is best. Would highly recommend Le Colombier.

Rather disappointing stay. Maybe we just got unlucky. Found broken glass on bathroom floor, door on cabinet in bedroom had fallen off. Room (1) was rather noisy and cold due to marble floors and doors banging. Returned to hotel about 8.00pm after meal, thought we would have a quick drink in bar. Waited for over 20 mins for receptionist to finish phone call which appeared to be to a friend, gave up waiting. I don't think the hotel has a bar! Colmar is a beautiful town, especially at Christmas, would return to town again, but find a different hotel.

The hotel is excellently situated in the "petite Venice" district, within comfortable walking distance of the old town. Comfortable room with large, modern bathroom, an excellent breakfast, friendly staff, an exciting blend of old building and modern furnishing made for a very happy stay.

Located in the heart of beautiful Colmar. Nicely fitted out rooms that are a good size for Europe! Staff were very helpful in giving information about driving routes etc.

A good hotel close to the city centre with lots of character. Reception service a little lackadaisical/idiosyncratic, but compensated by the quality of the location. Parking could be a problem. Good value

Better Espresso would be good. Caffee is okay

Lack of management.

We enjoyed our time at Colombier. However next time we would request a room away from the street.

An excellent stay. Everything was as advertised. I would use this hotel and Venere again.
