Assolutamente perfetto come base per escursioni nella regione e come luogo di relax (piscina, tennis). Personale estremamente accogliente e disponibile. Stanze ampie e ben accessoriate. Scelta al ristorante un po' limitata ma compensata dall'ottima qualità. Giudizio complessivo più che ottimo.

Stayed in a lovely, spacious double room at Hotel Belvedere. Very friendly service/staff. Great building, good restaurant and pool.

Very centrally located in Central Tuscany region not far from Siena (Monteriggioni about 10 min. away) off main AutoStrada (Exit Colle di Val d' Elsa - South and right at the traffic circle takes you almost directly to the hotel [skip the MapQuest directions]). Silvia was very helpful in pointing out travel directions and parking tips for side trips to Siena, the Chianti Road, etc. The salad bar at the Pizza Restaurant has a varied selection and is highly recommended. The wine store/farm located next to the hotel wasn't open so we couldn't buy villa-labeled wine to take away, but no shortage in the main restaurant.

Looks great from outside. Wonderful stone stairwell, and some things are really neat to see, also the courtyard. But some work needs to be done. In our room the wooden tiles in front of the bathroom were coming up and the door frame at the bottom was broken, probably from water from the shower, which is the typical italian baseless shower. All this was not a good combination with a 3 year old. Other rooms had obviously been redone. So hopefully this will be taken care of too. But the service personnel was nice. We even were able to drive in the courtyard to the front door to load up the car since it was raining. I think we would stay again if we go in that direction, I would just ask to see the room first, because of my daughter.

The staff were very helpful. I made reservations here since I could not find a place in either Siena or San Gimignano. As it turns out it was far more convenient staying here than in either of those two cities. It also allowed us to visit Volterra and Colle di Val d'Elsa, which we would not have had we stayed in Siena. The food at the hotel was quite good, but unfortunately the menu did not change during the three days we stayed there, so we ate most of the things that intrigued us on the menu.

Un hotel qui a du avoir son charme mais une zone industrielle est en train de dévorer un paysage qui a certainement été agréable. Les chambres n'ont pas été rénovées depuis une dizaine d'années et le petit-déjeuner laisse vraiment à désirer. Attention en hiver, l'hotel économise aussi sur le chauffage. En gros, pas terrible...

A pleasant stay in wonderful surroundings. The only complaint being that the web site did not indicate that the restaurant would be closed during the period of our stay. Beware of mosquitoes in the absebce of a/c
