Very nice location for travel in Tuscany,staff very friendly and very helpful,rooms somawhat noisy,door are flimsy and you can hear everyone in the hallway.Very nice town and surroundijng area.

Our arrival in Colle di Val D'Elsa coincided with a weekend Wine Festival and parking was impossible and as a result missed seeing the sign for the Hotel. However we eventually did find the hotel and got a grand welcome from the friendly staff. Our room overlooked the valley and had quite spectactular views. We ate at a nearby cafe (not a lot of choice as I remember) and had a nice meal but it was overpriced. Next morning, heavy fog.

The Hotel Arnolfo is located in a quiet walled town in Tuscany, Col Di Val d'Elsa, which has few tourists and is very conveniently located to visit the surrounding visiting towns such as Sienna and San Gimignano. Service was friendly, efficient and helpful. We had several nice recommendations for local dinners which were excellent. Parking was easy and the town easy to drive to. A little Italian knowledge helps in smaller towns. The old town and setting is beautiful but maybe not for those who have to brag about their hotel stay in the popular tourist towns. This is the real Italy. Hotel is comfortable but not fancy.

The staff was very helpfull. the rooms on the backside are not so quiet due traffic on the road in the valley. parking can be a problem. you have to make use of public parking lots (free of charge)outside the city centre. But the village itself is very nice. we have had a very pleasant stay.

Hotel Arnolfo was the only hotel situated in Colle Alta in Colle di Val d'Elsa so we were happy to stay there but the hotel could really do with some decorating, the room was quite shabby and unpersonnal and we weren't sure if the people who cleaned went under the beds as we found an old pair of socks there!!! The bathroom REALLY needs modernizing!!! The person at the reception desk was nice and helpful. Breakfast was so-so. The exterior of the hotel was nice but they really need to do something about the inside which is almost depressing, the lighting is very grim! The price was good as it was quite cheap!!!

A clean, friendly old-style hotel in a good location. Dropping one's luggage upon arrival is slightly tricky because to get to the car park you have to go around the town once more. Our room was on the street side and therefore a bit noisy due to the hotel bar situated almost directly below. But these were minor complaints. The breakfast is a reasonable stab at a full-fledged one for those who like to fill up in the morning.

Basic, slightly down-at-heel three-star set in a 16th century palazzo. This is the only hotel in atmospheric, medieval Colle Alta. Rooms are quite spacious for Italy, bathroom clean and modern. Staff friendly and helpful. Breakfast in the cellar. Nice view from rooms facing north but a good deal of traffic noise in the daytime. Reasonable value at 70 euros.

Gradita sorpresa. Buona collocazione, prossimo al centro storico di Colle Val d'Elsa. Unico problema, ma non insormontabile (l'uomo è ancora un essere con due gambe) il parcheggio non vicinissimo; si può comunque scaricare e caricare di fronte all'albergo. Camera pulita e bagno sufficientemente spazioso e con tutto funzionante. Colazione adeguata e, considerato lo standard italiano: caffè e cornetto, c'è molto di più. Accettati animali

Hotel Arnolfo provided very good service for the price we paid. The staff were polite, helpful and spoke English. It would have been great if the rooms had air conditioning. However, a fan was provided. Overall, Arnolfo was a nice hotel.

The only thing that I would complain about was the parking. You have to park in a parking lot outside the walls of the town and you have to go up steps to get to the hotel again. For us it was a minor pain but for the elderly this might be a problem. Beautiful place to stay though.

Description of hotel needs to state that the Reestaurant Arnolfo, which is well known, is no longer at the hotel. That is the reason we chose the hotel.

A charming hotel in the oldest part of town. The people at reception were very helpful on suggesting restaurants...they sent us to a wonderful place with excellent food. I would recommend this hotel.
