Hotel Bragança - Coimbra

Very well located hotel, 3 min walking from train station and near to city center; good structure; good stuff; good place to stay for visiting Coimbra.

Nice location. Basic rooms, but more than adequate.

Well located nearby the train station, but lacking of parking place. People are friendly, but this 3 Stars Hotel may need some refurbishing to be back to a three star hotel standard.... beside this the room was clean, spacious and quiet and we had a good stay overnight

Very nice hotel, cheap but comfortable, small rooms but clean. From the hotel you can reach the center walking in 2 minutes. And it is in front of the train station (Coimbra, not Coimbra-b).

Clean hotel next to Coimbra train station. Very centrally located.

Fully renovated traditional Portuguese house in 18th century building in the center of the center of Lisbon. At very short walking distance from the Renovadores stop of the cheap airport bus, from the Renovadores and Rossio underground stations, from the Rossio railways station (half an hour local train to Cintra) and from the Figueira Square (tourist buses to Belem and sightseeing Lisbon). Happily the window panels are sound-proof and there is good air conditioning, because Rua das Portas do Sao Antao is full of small restaurants and night life, very good if you are in, less good if you had to sleep without good sound-proofing. The staff has the special kindness of most Portuguese people: if they are able to find you a car to rent in Lisbon the 1st August they are able to do everything for you.

Hotel muy bien situado en el centro cerca de la estación de tren y de la estación de autobuses Expresso. La habitación muy espaciosa y el desayuno muy correcto.

Very conveniently located across street from New Station, downtown. Room quiet, on other side of street from station. Room small, but quite satisfactory. Staff quite helpful in giving directions to places and events. Breakfast quite satisfactory, in pleasant room. Only stayed one night, but would happily stay longer another visit. Highly recommended.

A wonderful accommodation, very close to the station (attention! Not the Coimbra-b station! Most of the trains from Porto or Lisbona stop at Coimbra-b, then you have to take another train just to Coimbra station. But the taxi are also quite cheap)and to the old city center . The hotel is well furnished and the staff is really friendly and helpful. I really enjoyed my stay at Bragança.

Rooms a little old and the city noise anoying. Very good location inside Coimbra, close to the historical town.

The best thing about this hotel is that it's extremely handy when arriving in Coimbra by train - literally next to the station. Also, our room (booked as a triple) had one huge room with a panoramic balcony on the corner of the building, plus a small room with bed - so size of room was good. However, this is a very old-fashioned hotel - the dining area in the evening is dismal - like something out of the victorian era. The staff on reception are very unfriendly and aloof - literally the bare basics - no attempt to be friendly or helpful....and certainly not welcoming! The location next to the station does mean a bit of noise but not all through the night. Would only recommend for a very short stay if you want to dump your bags somewhere close to the station.

Spacious room. Excellent location in the heart of the town. Some noise from the nearby train station but I do not care much - who cares could have problems. The breakfast is ok - good for the diet!
