Found the hotel very hard to find as the address said Claremont Ferrand & the hotel is in Monteferrand (5 miles away!!) Once found very traditional small hotel. Good place for an overnight stay but not for any longer. Very good breakfast.

Bathroom needs an update. Room spacious, with two double beds and a single. Big windows let in plenty of air, great view over the city and beyond.

The directions given to arrive at the hotel are really poor. Venere shoud highlight that the hotel is placed in the Montferrand area, a lovely medieval quarter, 2,5 km. away from Clermont-Ferrand city centre. There is a Tramway service running every 10 minutes from Montferrand to Clermont-Ferrand city centre.

The hotel is in a suburb of C - F. Our room had an excellent view of the Michelin factory. The hotel room was adequate in a 1970s way; we were not able to check in until 5.00 pm. There was nowhere to eat in the area the Monday we were there apart from a take away pizzeria.

By car
From highway A71/A72: follow the signs to Clermont-Ferrand Nord; at the crossroad des pistes, turn left (direction Le Mont Dore/La Bourboule) then follow the indications to Vieux Montferrand or Montferrand on the right.
From highway A75: take the exit 15 Clermont-Ferrand Nord, then follow the indications to Paris. Once reached the crossroad des pistes turn left and then follow the above-said indications.
