Hotel Porto di Roma - Civitavecchia

A lovely family run hotel! Very helpful beforehand with inquiries with a very quick turnaround time. Very helpful with assistance and inquires during my stay. Nice, clean rooms and very cheery. I would recommend Hotel Porto di Roma to anyone!

The rooms were extremely clean and very inviting. The staff was fantastic! They went above and beyond to provide any kind of service you needed. This hotel is rated as a 2 star hotel but has a 10 star customer service rating. I would recommend anyone to stay at this hotel. Centrally located and within walking distance to the market, restaurants, shopping and to the port. It was an amazing experience - thank you from the bottom of our heart! Brenda and Kirk Duncalfe

Staff was very nice and helpful, he gave us a map and lots of info on places to see and how to get around. wished we had more time to spend there.

The staff were Lovely. But I found that i had been booked a double room by Venere when i could have had a single for half the price. Unfortunately i discovered this too late and had to pay fr 6 nights at a very expensive rate. this was not the fault of the hotel. i was told by venere that there were no single rooms at this hotel. for the price i paid thsi place was the pits. but would have been ok for 2 people sharing costs -- no internet no public rooms whatsoever i had to sit in my room or the street no breakfast or cafe no view no fan or air con in the heat -i shall never use venere again i have now found a room that is wonderful has verything and the same price. But i would book myself next time through the internet and would stipulate a single room and get the right price thenthis hotel would have been ok
