We stayed here for 1 night prior to cruise. Very convenient to cruise terminal, train station and restaurants. Adequate breakfast but hard beds and extremely low water pressure in the shower. Would only recommend this hotel for the proximity to cruise terminal and don't feel it was good value for the money.

The location of the hotel is very good. It is close to the railway station and cruise ship station. The superior room is spacious with a good view. Some of the receptionists (especially at night) does not speak very good English. But they are kind enough to provide the best service as possible.

Reception staff very helpful and friendly. The ideal place to stay before or after a cruise.

The hotel is old and furniture is very worn out and in poor condition. There is NO way this is a 4 star property--more like a 2 star. There were no services available to us and person at registration was disinterested. There was noone to help us with our luggage, and the tiny elevator made it very difficult for us to get bags upstairs to our room.We paid for a triple and were supposed to have a 3rd bed for our daughter. Instead there was a worn out sleeper surface with the thinnest possible mattress. She said it was like sleeping on metal springs, and she had very little sleep. Air conditioning is very poor. The information presented was that hotel is air conditioned. However, the turn it of in the morning and all day when it is hot and do not turn it on again until the evening. This was totally misrepresented, and the room was miserably hot and uncomfortable. We needed extra towels for showering and were told there would be an additional charge of 7.5 euros for the towels. This was totally unacceptable and unheard of! Our stay at hotel was terrible, and we would never recommend this hotel to anyone!

Stayed here for one night, in transit to cruise. We arrived very late due to a delayed flight. We did call to confirm that we will still coming. When we finally did arrive, we were given a room that appeared to be under renovation, as one of the walls was bare drywall that had just been taped. There was dust all over the room from the sanding of the wall. The air condition did not work very well, which was quite disappointing - it was a quite hot night. We will look else where next time.

We thought the price was a bit high for a small town. The breakfast was very good.

Last year i paid only 140 euros for a suite and in this occasion i had to pay 130 euros for a normal room. Is too big the different between the prices and the quality of the rooms. Along my stay in the hotel i had some problems with the temperature of the water in the shower.

We needed a comfortable hotel for one night near the port to board our cruise ship. This hotel was ideal for this. I would also consider staying here for more leisure time.

We only stayed here one night, & found it very close to the railway station & a reasonable walk to the port. At $325 AU a bit expensive for my taste, but for Europe for a theme type of room it was about par with the hotels we could have booked with the cruise line. The breakfast which was included was quite good.

Room and public spaces were clean but extremely sparce and in great need of better furniture, decorations and general upgrading. Location good, staff helpful and location good for our one night stay. I was very pleased with your service-Venere- and will use you again when we travel to Italy.

The hotel was very nice. There were happenings going on across the street. Looked like everyone was having a great time. I was too tired to check it out. This hotel is about an hour from Rome. A short walk to cruise ship pick up point. It looks like there are nice beaches in the area. Our room over looked the water, very nice. I would not hesitate to stay there again. If you need to do laundry before or after cruise like we did there is a nice laundry, self serve, near the hotel.

We enjoyed staying. We arrived one day before the cruise and it was very convenient. The staff was very helpful.

Everything was good EXCEPT the the CHECK IN CLERK was not paying attention and gave my mother-in-law the KEY TO DOUBLE room and we were given the SINGLE SMALLER ROOM. She had already settled in, and is 86 years old, so we did not change rooms.

The Hotel de la Ville is a very attractive hotel, and our room was bright, airy and overlooked the Mediterranean Sea. It was well-situated, close to major transportation hubs, restaurants, shopping, and seaside walks. The breakfast was well-presented, and the facilities very pleasant. Staff were all helpful and easy to deal with. It was a great start to our Italian holiday cruise from the port.

The rooms were very large. I booked 2 suites and 2 single rooms and 1 double room. One of the suites was upgraded to a higher level which was lovely. Even though the road is very busy there was little noise. In an are close to restaurants, the hotel does have a restaurant for lunch and dinner but we did not use it. It looked very classy. Breakfast was good with a large selection of food, even cereal. We stayed here 2 nights waiting to catch a Mediterranean cruise. It was a good position as the Hertz rental car firm is next door to the hotel. Very happy and would stay again in the future.

The Hotel De la Villa was a clean, comfortable, well maintained hotel about 200 meters from the train station and on the same road as the cruise port. It is an excellent place to stay if travelling from Rome to take a cruise. There are several restaurants within walking distance.

Overall excellent. Only 5 mins walk from the harbour entrance. Plenty of restaurants around.
