hotel outside Hotel Torre del Moro hotel outside The site Torre del Moro lies on the ruins of tha ancient city «Angulus» (Città S’ant’Angelo) built around XVI century. On the tallest area the Saracens built a turret with the ain to control their harbour and the facing sea, and if you close your eyes you can still imagine Muslin Vessels sailing the Adriatic sea.

From this site you can admire either golden dawns or silver sunsets, and you can perceive the chancing of the season by the colors and scents of the surrounding countryside.

Many of our regular guests say they come to Torre del Moro residence because they like the familiar atmosphere they are treated with, the unique panoramas, the food and wines as well as the peace and tranquility they can enjoy during their stay with us.

Das Frühstück war schwach wie nie zuvor, beim Empfang wurde zwar das Zimmer vor uns inspiziert, aber die Klimaanlage nicht eingeschaltet. Im Zimmer roch es deutlich nach Zigarettenrauch. Das Lüften hatte eine Invasion von Gelsen zur Folge, erst recht während wir zum Abendessen abwesend waren. Die Nacht bleibt unvergesslich, kein Schlaf, vergeblich Schutz vor den Gelsen suchend. Die Folgen konnten nur durch medizinische Hilfe wieder die nächsten Tage in den Griff gebracht werden. Wie gesagt, keinerlei Information über Lüften, Klimaanlage seitens des Personals, obwohl bestenfalls 3 weitere Zimmer belegt waren. Dieses Haus kann ich leider nicht weiterempfehlen.

A good welcome and a fine hotel. The restaurant was not open but the proprietor drove us into town and returned for us later.......free of charge and where he took us provided an excellent dinner. A good breakfast buffet despite the fact we six were the only guests

We stayed 5 days, and had a wonderful time. The Hotel is a 15 minute drive from the sea, which is close enough to enjoy the beach, but far enough to enjoy tranquil evenings. Nice and quiet, and the view from the rooms is spectacular.
