Hotel Sole - Sottomarina, Chioggia

Very nice staff, warm and welcoming. I do recommend this place

Grosse Klasse ist der Gratisverleih von Fahrrädern. Trotz Doppelzimmer zur Eigennutzung ein sehr ruhiges und komfortables Zimmer. Der einzige Wehrmutstropfen (aber nicht wirklich ein Problem, kann man auch drüber lachen) war der Nachtportier (Stand Juli 2009). Bis der sich bequemt, den Schlüssel irgendwo an der äußersten Kante des Tresen zu deponieren, ist seine Schicht eigentlich schon rum.

Just a one night stay. Hotel hostess very helpful in pointing us in the right direction for dinner in Chioggia. Would stay again, next time for a longer stay.

The staff was welcoming, the location fine. We had a leaky air conditioning unit that made the floor wet, moldy and smelly. Our reservation was for one night - I was very happy to leave (Chioggia). The hotel was ok. We arrived on bike and they had a great, free, secure area for our bikes.

Hotel Sole was a beautiful property on a wonderful beach. We found staff to be polite but not overly friendly. Did not feel they welcomed Americans. Hotel guests mainly were families with young children. Restaurant quite loud. Sottomarina definitely lacking in restaurants. Had to drive to Chioggia to find dinner spots. Easy to reach Venice.

We were disappointed that the hotel pool and beach faciities were not available during our stay. Staff were very pleasant. Would use the hotel again if returning to that area

Lage direkt am Strand. Nach chioggia 4 Kilometer, ein wenig mühsam. Wenige Restaurants in der Nähe.

Wir (Mutter und erwachsene Tochter) haben das Hotel nur für eine Nacht als Zwischenhalt genutzt, darum ist die Bewertung nicht so einfach. Wir waren zufrieden, für einen längeren Aufenthalt hätten wir uns aber für eine Ferienwohnung entschieden.

We were told as we had book bed and breakfast we were not entitled to free use of the private beach, pool or sun chairs. The charge is 15 Euro's per room per night. Had this been mentioned on venere.com I would never have stayed here.

Only Italian customers welcome. Poor quality of hotel employees, zero interest in personal questions. No interest in international guests, very poor English. Breakfast horrible - only small Italian standard. Attention : when only booking B&B, no admission to private beach is available - extra costs 13 € / p.p. no internet connection in lobby, small bar

Rooms could be cleaned better and the employees were not kind with EVERYBODY

Very nice and competent employees. Close to (but not on) the beach. Parking available only with pay. No fridge in the room. Rooms are OK, but a quadruple is not very spacious (in reality a double room with 2 supplementary bunk beds)

Wir hatten den Raum 107 direkt neben dem Frühstücksraum über dem Küchenabzug und dem Veranstaltungsraum. Sehr laut, es stank und das Zimmer war sehr dunkel. Der Pool und der Strand, sowie die Lage sind gut.

Chioggia is a nice place to go to. Sottomarina itself is something like Benidorm, so if you like that..

Good sized room and bathroom area. Staff very welcoming and could speak english. Breakfast room and food selection good and restaurant for evening meal spacious. Limited menu but good food. Secure car parking a valued asset for us. Hotel has own beach area with a good sized swimming pool - clean.

While our round-trip through Italy this was one of the best hotels we had. Staff was helpfull and friendly, English absolutely no Problem. The Garage for the car was included in the price and there is also a pool across the street, which we can't use, since maintainance was not yet finished. To Chioggia (very beautifull) we recommend to go by car or bike. By foot it would take you about 40-50 Minutes walk. The roomes were spaciious and obviously new renovated. Safe is available and costs not extra. The Price-Quality Relation was excellent and therefore we always would book this Hotel again. It was better than some four star hotels we had. Enjoy your stay.

Das Hotel ist als durchaus in Ordnung zu bewerten. Wir hatten allerdings das grosse Pech, daß sich zur gleichen Zeit eine 60-köpfige Jugendfußballgruppe im Hotel befand. Ab 6.00 Uhr früh gab es Lärm am Gang und anonyme Anrufe. Daraufhin verliessen wir nach einer Nacht das Hotel.

Most Rooms face a busy street or another building. The Hotels furnishings are old and in need of renovation. We had an extremely small room (clean) with a broken air-conditioning system. Employees friendly and helpful. Note that the boat trip to Venice - no matter if you´re taking the fast(non-stop) or slow boat will take 1.5 hours.

A good family hotel. We had two rooms, one for a couple, which was very small and one for a family, with a small room apart for two children. The double was to small for a longer stay. You couldn´t find a place for your luggage. But the family room was okay. The private beach is located only 200m from the hotel.

An ideal hotel for family based holidays, although the distance to walk to the centre of the resort is approx 1.5 miles where most of the restaurants are situated.

Actually, we stayed only for one night. For that it was okay. The triple was a bit too small, as I thank, but overall okay. The room was very noisy, as the hotel (it's not recognizeable on the picture) directly a the main street of the village Chioggia. It's not far from the beach. That was okay.

Das Hotel ist völlig ok; gutes Frühstücksbuffet in großem, sonnigem Raum; nette, kompetente Reception, saubere Zimmer, der Strand locker fußläufig erreichbar. Für den einzigen Nachteil der relativen Lärmbelästigung v.a. durch den Morgenverkehr kann das Hotel natürlich nichts, daran sind die italienischen Verkehrssitten schuld.

We had a most enjoyable stay at the Hotel and found that it was well situated for all the places we had planned to visit. The staff are welcoming, pleasant and were very helpful in overcoming our language problems.

The staff was very friendly and helpful. Breakfast (incl in the price)- above average. On the weekend there was a bit noisy wedding in the banquet rooms on the ground floor of the hotel.

The rooms and location were excellent. There was noise from the party on the terrace each night, which we could hear even when the windows were closed. The hotel staff and service was also excellent.

Rooms very small, also te bathrooms - you have to pay 7 Euro a day for the pool - possibilties at the beach are not very good

We were made very welcome - receptionist and barman spoke good english. Staff most helpful throughout our stay.A good family atmosphere. Beach appx 200 yards and numerous restaurants nearby. Vappareto to Venice from Chioggia (5 mins by bus). A pleasant stay............

A very pleasant and enjoyable stay. The hotel catered perfectly for our needs. Well sited in the area. Have recommended it several times.
