This was a wonderful place to stay! I always wanted to stay in an actual chateau and this was a great opportunity to feel in sinc with the Loire Valley. The rooms (including the bathrooms) were huge. It has all of the old charm but with the modern coveniences. We went down for kir by the fireplace and enjoyed our surroundings for a couple of hours. It was quiet and cozy, just delightful. The chateau is outside of Chinon so a car is a must. It was expensive, but worth it!

From the A10 motorway, take exit 24 Saumur, and drive towards Chinon, then take the D116 road to the village of Marçay.

By train
The nearest railway stations are Chinon (15 minutes away) and Tours (45 minutes away). From there you can take a taxi or rent a car at Avis-Hertz-Europcar.

By airplane
The nearest airport is in Saint Symphorien, north of Tours, 60 km from Marçay. You may also arrive at the airport of Nantes-Château Bougon, 165 km from Marçay. There you may rent a car or take a taxi.
