Hotel Ferrari - Chiavari

Very good price/quality ratio. The hotel is well situated in a central position. The room had an excellent noise insulation and was very quiet notwithstanding a main street with lots of trafic just one floor down.

We were there in the hot season, never stay there in the hot season. As soon as you leave the room they turn the ac off. 6 oclock in the morning they turn the ac off.

The hotel is quite hard to find, and occupies one floor of a apartment complex (no lift either) - the location is great, near the centre of town, with regular trains to both portofino and cinque terre - so a great central location. The staff at this hotel really excelled in many ways, helping out with tours, during breakfast, and at every opportunity they went out of there way - despite it being a basic hotel, the location is great and staff were excellent.

We chose Chiavari as a base to visit the Cinque Towns and surrounding areas too. For this purpose the Ferrari was ideal as it is across the road and at the end of the Train Station street, a 5 minute walk. The hotel interior very new so the hotel is immaculate and the bathroom is luxe and large, with a bathtub/shower. The hotel staff all lovely, helpful and friendly and helped us find out ferry trips, local stores, and told us about the antique market every 3rd Sunday in Chiavari (fantastic). Our room had a large balcony which was bliss after a day out trekking the Cinque Terra. No frigobar but the hotel has a restaurant and across the road is an excellent store with Vino, drinks etc., Proximity to the railway line results in some noise at night but bed was perfect and we slept well. Lift starts at first floor but the stairwell wide and we had no inconveneince. Loved it all.

The Hotel does not have lift. The location close the train. Too noisy

Just a stop over here ,going to Toscana so we didn't mind the surroundings. Staff very friendly,and ready to help us. I forgot my sunglasses in the bedroom ,i thought they were lost,but not at all!After a call to tell what was going on,they found my sunglasses and send them back to me in Switzerland!!!!!Really nice ,isn't it?
