Residence La Rose Des Vents - Cherbourg

I booked an appartment for one night as a stopover. Gaelle Lechanoine, the manager was very helpful (even though my French is poor!) -Thanks to a little help from Bing translator, she was able to understand my question regarding late check out and was helpful in offering the lounge area later in the day, as the room itself was booked. Helpful and professional. The rooms were spotlessly clean, though compact. The communal hallways did smell of cigarette smoke, being non smokers we found that unpleasant, but otherwise it does everything it says on the box and is centrally located. It would help to have more detail about what is included in the rooms, such as bedlinen, towels, toilet paper, kitchen equipment/kettle etc. - we weren't sure how much to bring. Thankfully that was all included (except a coffe maker rather than a kettle, and no oven or stove, just a microwave. - It was perfectly fine for our purposes.
