The hotel was good, but the attached restaurant was very poor. The dinner was some of the worst food I ate while spending two weeks in France, and the way the breakfast was managed was not very pleasant. This such a nice little hotel, that it is a shame about the restaurant.

The rooms are small, but that's not unexpected. Very friendly, and reserved us a parking spot just out front upon request. Just a short walk outside the old city. We really enjoyed our stay.

Staff were a rather stiff in their dealing with us, but I suspect they were struggling with English, and a bit concerned about what we might want to ask. Hotel was close to the centre of town, but very quiet. Only wifi access is in the small lobby.

We really enjoyed our stay as it was conveniently situated to all the great places to see in Chartres. The staff was particularly good especially the owner when we locked our keys in our car. They were amazing as we did not speak any French and the outcome could have been a disaster . We totally loved our adventure in France. What an amazing country and so good and friendly to overseas visitors . Regards The Clarks Melbourne

Conveniently located not far from the cathedral and the centre of town. Short walk to the railway station and town. Quiet neighbourhood. The room I was in had a reasonable amount of space in it, both the room and the bathroom were very clean. The only annoying thing was that the hall light had a motion sensor that kept turning the light on all the time. The only way to disable that was to leave the bathroom door open to block the sensor. Also the breakfast service did not start at 8 am on Sunday as posted. When you have to be somewhere at 8:30 and was hoping to get breakfast at 8, this makes things a little difficult.

Front desk has limited hours. We had to call for the entry code since we arrived after 8 pm. We had to wait 30 minutes in the morning before we could check out, since the staff at reception in the morning could not accept payment (they also only spoke French). Parking was very limited. Location was handy for the key sights in town.

Very good place for a short stop - central, quiet and with a small but very pleasant room. The shower was amazing - an ordinary shower, a rain-shower one and lots of spray nozzles too! The seafood restaurant downstairs closes before 9pm so be aware!

This hotel was basic but fine for a stopover. Its location was good, with the cathedral only a few minutes' walk away, and the hotel receptionist gave us lots of tourist info about the city's illuminated monuments. The reception was welcoming, although we were asked to settle the bill before we had even seen the rooms, which I do not find acceptable. This was the only contact we had with hotel staff. We did not eat dinner or take breakfast, but the rooms were clean and quiet. They were very small, however, to the extent that there was very little room for a suitcase on the floor.

This Hotel exactly matched our expectations of price vs facilities. It is a reasonably priced hotel with clean, functional rooms. The beds were very comfortable and the staff were helpful. We requested a parking space and a reserved sign was waiting for us on our arrival which was a joy.

The room was spacious and comfortable. Very noisy during the afternoon we arrived (something that sounded like an African church service was going on in the breakfast room), but we left to go sightseeing in Chartres so this wasn't really a bother for us. Internet connection was wired only, no WiFi (and therefore of no use to our smartphones). We were lucky to get one of the few parking spaces right outside the hotel door - not sure how travelers in high season would fare on this account. We would have liked to try the hotel's restaurant L'Ecume, but it was closed the night we were there (Sunday).
