Park Hotel Suisse & Spa - Chamonix-Mont-Blanc

The staff at park suisse were excellent the room could have been a little larger but we were out sking most of the day.The food at the restaraunt was very good. it would have been good to have had tea &coffee making facilities in your room after a day on the slopes. Location was perfect.would highly recommend it to anyone wanting to visit Chamonix.It was the first time we stayed at Park Suisse

We found the room smaller than expected and the dining room staff unfocused on guests' needs. Like many other hotels in France, no attention had been paid on the menu to the needs of vegetarians. The swimming pool was also a lot smaller than the photos suggest. On the plus side, the hotel is well located and the room was clean and quiet. An acceptable if unexciting place to stay.

Park Suisse is in a great location but it is overpriced, with mediocre service, and a tiny pool. Renters be aware that the cancellation policies advertised by Venere are not as flexible as they seem. Dear sir/madam, The Cancellation and Reservation Policy depends on the individual property you have booked with. Venere.com itself does not charge any penalties for reservations that are made, cancelled or modified in any way. However, each property has its own cancellation policy relating to reservations that are made with them. The Cancellation policy states within how many days before the day of arrival you are permitted to cancel the booking without penalty. The Reservation Policy states if the property requires a deposit for your reservation. This is shown on-line on the last page of the reservation process BEFORE you send your booking request and is also communicated in the confirmation message sent to you - it is recommended that the cancellation and reservation policy section is read carefully to avoid any problem. Sizeable room with a nice patio facing the Brevant, which we assumed would be quieter than facing town. However, one night there was a wedding reception at the hotel directly across from our room and the music was quite loud for the entire night. Screens on the patio door would have been nice to prevent the black flies from entering on nights it was quiet enough to sleep with the windows open. The room also smelled musty. Service provided by all employees at the hotel was great as well as the dinners. The rooftop pool was not heated as advertised and was too unbearably cold to even think about getting in, even in summer.

4 nights stay in Feb 07. Mostly British and French travelers at the hotel. Most did not care to socialize with an American.

Very pleasant. Expected it to be nice, and it was even nicer than I expected.
