We went to Chamonix for a long weekend and so struggled to find accomodation even in late March 2009. The best we could find was Mont Blanc but even though it seemed a bit pricey we booked 2 suites.We believed that as it was a 4 star hotel would be comfortable.The public rooms and areas of the hotel are quite grand and we all thought wow this is nice.The hotel staff were welcoming but the rooms were very disappointing: all the furniture was old and worn out and mismatched the beds were uncomfortable and the bathrooms were out of the ark. Although saying all that everything worked, there was a room safe and a flat screen tv which looked so out out place with the rest of the decor! the private shuttle to the slopes was not operating which was a bit inconvenient but the ski room was very good. Will definitely go back to Chamonix but will not stay here again as i did not think it was value for money.

We were not greeted in a very friendly fashion when we arrived. In fact the man at reception said 'of course this rate does not include breakfast' in a way that madeus feel we could not afford it. Guess what we ate elsewhere!! Rooms very small and stuffy and bed not comfortable.

This was my first visit to Chamonix-Mont-Blanc hotel. The staff were courtious, the rooms were spacious and the hotel restaurant was excellent. Booking the hotel via the Venere web site was definitely great value for money.

The room was lovely and spacious. We enjoyed a wonderful meal at Atmosphere a charming restaurant on the river. This was my second visit to Chamonix and I would most definitely return to Hotel Mont Blanc.

The price of the room was indicated with half board. This was wrong indicated and you had to take off this facilities from the web pages. Please look in your correspondence with me. thats why i gave only bad points to price and service...
