Hotel Le Prieuré - Chamonix-Mont-Blanc

A bathrobe in the romm would be good to have when going to the spa. It would be nice to have the opportunity to buy a beer or a glass of wine when relaxing in the spaarea

Le Prieure was closed and we had not been notified. Luckily, another hotel in the 'chain' honoured our booking, including our 30% deposit, and we enjoyed our stay in Chamonix very much.

We spent two nights a Le Prieuré. The gentleman at the reception desk was enormously helpful. The room was cleaned nice and early, while we were at breakfast. The view of Mt. Blanc was breathtaking. The hotel is one block from the main street -- convenient but peaceful.

Good hotel overall. They tend to charge you a few euros for services which 3* hotels usualy provide free of charge - like Internet use, and you have to lock your skis in their ski room (yes, they will rent you a lock for a few euros if you didn't bring your own), etc. The views are breathtaking!

We were very pleased with our stay in chamonix, and love to come back.

If a transportation service is available, I feel better.

Far too expensive considering what you actually get for that maoney. To have to pay extra for breakfast is extortionate!

As an airline employee I travel a lot and as cheaply as possible. The Hotel Prieure was perfect. I spent one night in Chamonix and could not have been happier with the helpful, english speaking staff, the room cleanliness, and absolutely fantastic view. Extra pillows and blanket in the closet. Quiet, and traditional with a homely feeling, bed was a bit hard although my personal preference is a really soft bed. Great hot tub. Good location, quiet but close enough to the main streets. I was very happy with my stay for the price.

Nice rooms with great view to Mont-Blanc. Breakfast buffet (EUR 13/person in addition to room rate) was expensive in relation to what was offered, in that regard there is room for improvement. However, we enjoyed our stay.

Good structure, no needs of vehicle for reaching downtown, station or cable railway station. Spa service is smaller than expected.

The beds are horrible, in the bathrooms the toilets were broken, the price is too high, the SPA is so little, you have to wait, only good thing is the view to the MONT-BLANC from the balcony,Group-Hotel...

Great location, spacious rooms with balcony, good food. Excellent value. Breakfast poor value at 13 euros, and awful coffee! Prices quoted should include parking, but don't seem to.

I went during the summer so not sure how the experience would be as a skier, but I found this hotel cozy and very well-located just steps from Chamonix's main shopping/eating street. We had a balcony that overlooked trees framed by Mont Blanc, the hotel had garage parking which was great, and staff was friendly and helpful in booking tickets for cable cars. I did not eat here for any meals, but regarding the hotel I recommend it and would stay again.
