Great chic hotel. really stylish, right at the heart of Chamonix. Excellent helpful staff. Rooms as is usually the case in Chamonix are small but well maintained and clearly a lot of effort made.

What an incredible gem! We can't rave enough about our stay! We are a family with 2 boys (ages 8 and 13). We got one of the family rooms that was more than adequate in size. The hotel is charming and clean with modern accents. The breakfast was delicious. The jacuzzi and sauna are cozy and clean after a day of skiing. The staff was fantastic--so nice and helpful! We had to change our travel plans and they bent over backwards to assist us. This is truly one of the best places we have stayed and we will definitely be back!!

Not quite your standard hotel layout, quaint and different. Ideally located to the centre of town, easy walk to rail station and major lift stations. Staff were all friendly and helpful.

1. Hotel Le Faucigny should provide enough free parking space. 2. Hotel Le Faucigny should clean up the room more carefully. 3. It's inconvenient for no any elevators. 4. The space of the room should have more Spaciousness. 5. Hotel Le Faucigny should enhance the sound insulation.

The location was excellent, the room was very clean and staff was great. The only VERY minor complaint we had was the only mirror in the room was in the bathroom - since it was 3 of us it would have been nice to have another mirror to free up the bathroom. The size of the room was the typical Europe size room.

Breakafast's price is to high (12 €), may be the hotel may offer 2 types of breakfast : a light one for people who don't need a huge breakfast and a second one for those whoe come for climbing or skiing ...

A lovely place to stay. Beautiful modern, but warm atmosphere. No lift, but friendly staff that offered to take our bags. Close to all atractions and about 500m to railway station. Breakfast was a little pricy, but very nice. It was lovely to relax and warm up in the sauna and jacuzzi. They'll see us again

The hotel staff were some of the best I have ever met. They were warm, helpful and always available. The hotel is newly renovated, hence clean. The free spa facilities for guests include a sauna and a jacuzzi. Those were key after long days of skiing. Breakfast is an extra expense. I would recommend going to the bakery which is about 40 meters away from the hotel for a baguette sandwich if you want to experience France a bit more. The location of the hotel is good. Close to the tourist office and all of the town attractions. All buses to the slopes are near enough. If you get the unlimited ski pass, you have free transportation to all the slopes in the region (around 50euro/day), including Italy (entierly worth it) and Switzerland, as well as access to the slopes in the other countries. You can also visit the Mer de Glace (glaciers) with the Montenvers train for free, which would otherwise cost you 25euro without the pass. Wifi in the hotel is free. The only issue I could mention was the price. Understandably, since we travelled during the high season, the price was higher than usual. Also, Chamonix has gotten rather expensive in recent years. The standard room cost us 200euro/night (with no breakfast included), which was too high for the size of the room that we ended up with. The standard rooms are very small. There is a very comfortable bed, a flat screen TV on the wall, a small table and a small dresser to put clothes in. That's all that can pretty much fit. The bathroom was also very small. From what I noticed, the regular low season rate for the room is something under 100euro/night, which is a more fitting price for the size. Since the hotel was only recently renovated, when we booked, there were no real pictures of the rooms that the hotels offers (there were only computer mock-ups), so we didn’t entirely know what we would get. The common areas are wonderful, clean and well designed.
